to clarify, I stumbled upon this hostel to check whether I want to stay there.
Some reviews pointed out a certain rudeness of the managers, so I went through the replies. Here are the quotes from the answers they provided:
"€60 double room for single use, € 75 for double use" – right, if you are 2 people for 2 people room, you have to pay more because usually only 1 person books a 2 people room.
a guest expressed their feelings about management yelling at them, the reply:
"the hostel staff never yells at you, maybe my tone of voice seems high" – some gaslighting (we do not yell, it is your problem).
" your version of the facts is not correct" – wonderful.
"I advice you to learn a little humility on you way and understand what the Camino de Santiago is" – sure, Is it a path of paternalism?
"Regarding cleaning, it is simply not true" – well, we will never know for sure.
"tourists disgused as pilgrims", "you do not have the education or the necessary sensitivity to be a poligrim, you need a few lesson of humility and capasity for suffering" – my favourite this far.

a bed bug problen: "the lazines of some establishments and the lack of discipline of some pilgrims"

will not stay there, I need to learn more humility.

Breakfast was basic /typical Spanish , lovely fresh bread, plenty of coffee ( or hot chocolate) and jam and butter. The Albergue us very well located in central Llanes and although primarily a hostel for pilgrims provides a good base for regular travellers wanting a night ot two in the charming little...
