Casa del Diamante – Meer- und Buchtblick VILLA — Hotel in Llucmajor

Casa Del Diamante was a lovely and spacious three bedroom villa in the beautiful cove and coastal seaside town of Cala Pi.

It’s less than a half hours drive from Palma and within 20 mins drive from Santanyí, Ses Salines and Campos that have fantastic weekly markets offerings a wide range of stalls to keep one busy for hours (i.e. fresh produce to eclectic Mallorca fashion and jewelry boutiques).

The Villa itself offered all the required amenities, with the big added bonus of the temperature controlled swimming pool, which provided refreshing relief from the warm and long Mallorca summer days.

The Villa was well prepared and check in and check out was a breeze! Florian (landlord) was very helpful with all our plans during our stay, and it was much appreciated!

The view over the cove from the balcony (rooms as well as outside balconies) are breathtaking and we found ourselves there more than often enjoying the beautiful sunsets in the evening with a glass of wine from the vineyard Bodegas Vi Rei just 5 mins drive outside of Cala Pi.

Last added bonus and a great find during our stay in the south of the island were the beaches of Es Trenc and Ses Covetes, which I highly recommend visiting, as you’ll find yourself spending endless days in crystal clear turquoise and calm waters with beautiful white sandy beaches.

From our initial booking, to giving the keys back, it has been a five star experience.

Florian is the consummate host, he was in touch once we'd confirmed our booking with all the information we could have asked for! The guidance, advice and care he showed to us even before we'd set foot in the villa, was second to none.

Let's not leave it there....after a delay at the airport (both sides) we made it out, spoke to Florian to let him and Peter (our contact in Cala Pi) know, who then zipped back over to meet/welcome us to the villa.

The villa is exceptional.

There was a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us and some pods of Nespresso for your early morning coffee overlooking a truly wonderful view, before you take a dip in your own crystal clear swimming pool.

The family and I had the best time staying here and we've made some amazing memories.

I write this review knowing that any holiday home I stay in after this one, has a very high bar to beat.

Case Del Diamante was a wonderful villa with an amazing view. We used the villa pool every day and swam all the time. We loved hiking along the cliffs, go across the beach to the boat area and you will find steps going up to the hiking trail. We swam in the sea with our snorkels and masks and saw lots of fish and a stingray! There was the odd jelly fish but you were warned by the flag on the beach if they were around. Taverna Patera was a great restaurant with super service, very hot -take a fan! The pizza restaurant was good for a casual meal and delicious pizza and good service.
