We had a very uncomfortable experience here. When we entered, we simply asked whether there was a free table. The server seemed irritated from the start and responded with, “If you have lots of time and don’t mind waiting, then you can sit down,” in a tone that made us feel we were already a nuisance.

We were with our two small children and were being polite and quiet. After we were seated, we were given German menus. When my husband stood up to ask for English versions (we speak both), the server raised his voice and said, “Please sit down and stop walking around.” It was abrupt and humiliating, and we genuinely had no idea what we had done wrong.

At this point, I asked my husband to take the children and leave because the situation had become tense. I stayed briefly to calmly say that I did not appreciate being spoken to in that tone. In response, he swore at me and then began speaking about us to other guests while laughing.

This was deeply unprofessional and completely unnecessary. Whether the staff were stressed or short-handed, there is no justification for hostility or disrespect toward customers — especially families just trying to have a meal.

We left and went next door to Nix Nax, where the staff were warm, welcoming, and the food was great — a stark contrast.

We were served our drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down and our food arrived within 20 minutes. Which was really nice to get everything so quickly.

I ordered the nachos and the double mix burger and it was above and beyond expectation. The burger was so huge. I had to deconstruct it because I couldn't bite it like a normal Burger. It also came with fries and a draft beer included in the price which was kind of hard to believe.

The music selection was really good and the aesthetic was modern and clean and just overall a nice chill place where you would want to just hang out with your friends and just talk and enjoy good food. Overall, highly recommend. Come check this place out if...

Went there twice during our 12 days stay at Cala Pi. First visit was okay. Food was okay. Second visit very busy. Understaffed and incredibly slow. Took 90 minutes to get out food from time of arrival. Fish and pizzas are definitely frozen. Staff did Lots of running backwards and forwards with a freezer type shopping bag to freezer which is obviously at the side of the property. Not sure how it’s got 4.2 stars.
