I thought it would be good to share a review, for anyone thinking of going. Especially if like me you’re neurodivergent and don’t drive!

I booked with eurocamp.

✨ The Highlights ✨

I was a bit worried when I heard that there wasn’t “much of a beach” on google reviews. But that’s not true. There’s erosion but the sand gets topped up every year. And it stretches for miles! The beach is absolutely stunning. There’s a foam party there on a Thursday- I missed it but my sensory seeking daughter would have loved this. It’s best to go early morning or after 7pm to avoid crowds.

There is a fair bit of things to do- playgrounds, kids clubs, cinema, disco, spa, and at least 3 pools and an adult only pool. Not to mention the beach is 5 minutes walk from the site.

The restaurant by the pool (I can’t remember the name but was under a white canopy!) serves amazing food. Whether you want burgers, nuggets or paella- you have options!

Supermarket was pricey but only marginally. I’d compare it to shopping at Sainsbury’s with no own brands. Stock was replenished frequently.

Was €55 to travel from Reus to eurocamp.

⚠️ Not so great ⚠️

The mosquitoes loved my skin (must be all the coke I drink 😂) so buy your repellent and maybe the plug in bug zapper.

bungalow was fine but is a bit dated! Also, was clean, but not amazing. I always personally re-clean everything cos of my experience as a cleaner 😅

though there is aircon, it’s only in the living space and is on for 2 hours before it switches off automatically. I recommend bringing a mini fan for the hot nights!

the place is marketed as a 4, and I can see why, but I don’t feel like it’s up there yet, considering the money I paid for it. I’d say 3 at least, but I could see the potential.

It’s very overcrowded so it did send me into a meltdown for the first 2 hours. But I got used to it!

It’s beneficial for you to speak Spanish wherever possible. Though eurocamp speak English, it’s harder to speak to other guests or order in restaurants on the beach if you don’t speak it. I didn’t mind cos I don’t go on holiday to make friends, but I had to go back to my GCSE Spanish/google translate to navigate my way through things😂

people do stare a lot… I felt like it was because of the colour of my skin but it could also be because of the fact my hair is fluorescent pink 😂. It was more out of curiosity and they do smile.

be prepared to queue at 10am if you want a sunbed. But tbh I didn’t care. I found a spot on some fake grass, threw a towel down and jumped in the pool!

book a taxi with reception at the main entrance the day before your departure, otherwise you will be hyperventilating trying to book a bolt to the airport as they’re always busy.

WiFi is TERRIBLE! Always buy an eSIM before you leave home. I got an unlimited data plan for £15 for 5 days.

The electricity keeps disconnecting twice a day (around 11am and 2am) Overall- I’d give it a 6/10! Not perfect, but full of great memories. I’d return (when there’s a good deal!) and be very prepared next time around.

Not much around the area within walking distance, so probably not for you if you want to explore the city. You could get a bus but it comes hourly.

As an autistic person it can work with a bit of planning, and with my AuDHD daughter she never gets bored, but there’s always opportunity to rest as the campsite is 2 minutes...

From the photos it looked great, it also has "resort" on its name so we had great expectations since we previously been to a camping resort and it was excellent. This one however wasn't even close.

It started with our pitch being occupied with a caravan when we got there, so we reported it and decided to leave for the day and come back a few hours later. It was resolved by then.

The pools were great, and the bars and restaurants around were good as well. We ate there a couple of times and the food was good, a bit on the expensive side, but not too much. There aren't enough of those pool chairs, they serve around a 3rd of the people there, however there are a few spots where you can put a towel, and there is generaly enough shade.

It has a good supermarket, with lots of products, I think we got everything we wanted from there.

Another positive point is the beach. The campsite is right on the beach, depending on the location of your parcel, you can be just a few meters away.

The bathrooms were clean, and they had more than enough shower cabins for everyone, I never had to wait in line.

Now... the spot to do the dishes was pitch black, lights didn't work, I reported it but nothing was done during my stay.

The reception was very very slow, it took me like 30min just to pay and leave, it looked very unorganized to be honest.

But the worst part of my stay, and the main reason I'm not coming back ever, the noise at night. I barely supported it. We had 2 small kids and it amazes me how they were able to sleep at night. The animation stopped at mid night, which is too late in my opinion, but after that, there were people talking and laughing quite lowd until very late, like 2 and 3 in the morning. There were even motorcycles and cars going around at these hours sometimes, it was insane. There were a couple of instances where the staff asked these people to keep quiet, and one of those times the staff member was even more infuriated than me, but the problem remained. Every night the same thing. This never happened to me in any campsite I...

First time with this campsite with my husband and my 3 children. |We booked direct with the site (usually use Eurocamp) |Montroig is our usual site but we thought to try something different. |My first issue was the lack of amenities and utensils available for a self catered holiday. |The cooker is extremely old, one of those you have to spark and light with a match or lighter (that we had to buy) this has lead to many singed fingers. ||You have knives, forks spoons, one bread knife and 2 big ladels ?! No spatulas, cooking spoons cutting knives. Very difficult to make a meal with the provisions. (Try making fried eggs with a ladel) or cutting onions with a bread knife.||There is no kettle. When I enquired about this they made a joke about British people needing their tea, but a kettle is standard with Eurocamp so this was a surprise. ||There is no barbecue with your property, you have to hire one for 4 euro per day. Not the biggest expense I know, but as a family who has camped across Europe for many years, this is a first and was a shock. The provided barbecues have always been a big part of our holiday. ||We went to the supermarket to buy some food, burgers, sausage etc as we do around 50% cooking at the caravan to save money|Alas THERE IS NO COOKER!!!!!!|For this self catering holiday you're provided with a microwave and 4, ancient gas hobs. If I didn't laugh, I'd cry. ||We were provided bedding for each bed but received 3 sheets instead of pillow cases. It took 3 trips to reception to finally receive the correct bedding. ||Also to note, the noise between 4 and 5 am. |Every morning myself and my children have been woken by groups of drunk people shouting, singing, screaming, very rowdy. I've learned there is an 16+ disco from 2300 to 0400am every night. So beware of booking anywhere near the main road that leads away from the disco. |||Will...

Have stayed here since 2018 every year apart from one year during lockdowns. The month of June is quiet, once July and August comes except the beach and pools to get busy as well as shops and the restaurants that are on site. The camp sites mainly consist of Dutch and French, but you will see some Germans, Swiss, Belgian and Danes. Up at the top of the camp site where the homes are located you can expect to hear a lot more English speaking people, either from Ireland or England. Most staff speak some english so ordering food isn't an issue and you should have no problem getting what you want off the menus. Prices for the campsite are reasonable, prices for food/drink are on a little higher end for Spain. The local supermarket likes to jack prices up and something simple as a bag of ice could cost you 2.95. I highly recommend a car or a bike for this area and drive/cycle down to Cambrils or Miami Platja and go into the supermarkets there to save money on certain items. Pool is large enough but again can get busy, if you don't arrive in the morning to get a bed you will find it hard to get a bed during the day as there will be lots of towels on the beds. Facilities are great, decent showers and bathrooms and you can get some washing done by hand or use their washing machines that are easy to use and no washing detergent required as that's already included in the price (4 euro). The beach this year is a lot smaller than previous years due to sand erosion, the beach is expected to be filled with sand again for next year hopefully. Expected to be packed up tightly unless you are willing to walk down from the steps to have more space. I would recommend this place if you are looking to get away from Salou or a city holiday and just spend time at the beach or the pool area with a trip or two down to Cambrils or Miami Platja.

We won't be back unfortunately! 2nd time here, 6 years apart. Had a different feel to it. This year, the staff seemed less polite especially in the takeaway (the eurocamp staff were fab as always). There were alot of Dutch and French people. The camp just seemed to cater for them entertainment wise. Electric scooters everywhere!!! Morning until night. We thought the campsite was very clean and tidy. Yes the pool area gets busy and if you want a sun bed you have to que before the pool opens to get one. They had a small pile of sunbeds for pregnant women if they needed one, which I thought was great. The slides and adult pools are great ( men need spedos for the adult pool). Beach bar is nice but we found the terrace bar better value as there cocktails had more alcohol in them. The bakery is boring. The beach has shrunk so much over the 6 years, and it gets very crowded. We jumped in the car and drove 5 minutes to miami platjas beach, much better, water is clearer and loads of room on the sand, or a 15 minute drive to crystal beach. Sitting at our accommodation was peaceful, we were near the busy strip of road but we didn't let it bother us. We would never take our caravan. They are squashed in like sardines, and not as peaceful as the other end of the park, not for us.
