Absolutely Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in Spain.

From the moment we walked in, the service was cold, unfriendly, and completely unprofessional. Staff gave us conflicting information about the day’s menu and the main menu – neither matched what was actually available, and it quickly became clear they were making it up as they went along.

We ordered the paella, expecting at least a decent rendition of a classic Spanish dish. What we received was the worst paella I’ve ever eaten in Spain: overcooked rice, bland flavor, and what tasted like frozen, low-quality seafood. It was borderline inedible.

To make things worse, the dessert we had ordered – after suffering through the meal – was suddenly “out of stock” after we had finished eating. That felt less like poor inventory and more like an afterthought, or just sheer negligence.

All in all, this was a complete disaster. Misleading menus, awful food, and rude staff. Save your time, money, and appetite – go literally...

We had a great time at Restaurant La Palmera – the food was excellent, the service warm and attentive, and the atmosphere very pleasant. We truly enjoyed our meal and appreciated the friendly staff. Prices were reasonable for the quality.

The only downside, and the reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars, was a mistake on the bill – we were unfortunately overcharged. I noticed it too late and didn’t have the time to go back and clarify. I sincerely hope it was just an honest mistake on a busy evening.

Overall, still a place I would happily recommend...

Erstmalig waren wir dieses Jahr im la palmera zu Gast. Die Bedienung sehr flink und freundlich, deutsch sprechend, hatte uns mit einem Blick taxiert und sofort als deutsche Familie erkannt, was vielleicht aber auch der Übung geschuldet ist, da genau gegenüber ein riesen Campingplatz liegt, der wohl fest in alemannischer und holländischer Hand liegt. Wir bekamen auch eine Karte, die komplett in Deutsch gehalten war. Ein sehr freundlicher Chef klopfte mir kurz auf den sonnenbrand, eine persönliche Atmosphäre ist also anzutreffen. Dafür und für die Reinlichkeit der Toiletten volle fünf Sterne. Einen Stern Abzug gebe ich für die zwar Spanisch anmutende, aber doch für den deutschen Touristen zurechtgestutzte Küche. Meine Vorspeise war klasse, eine gefüllte Ananas mit einer Füllung aus Quark, Ananasstücken und Garnelen, sehr lecker (siehe Foto) und einem kleinen Salat. Das Schnitzel mit pilzsoße und pomfrit hatte leider eine EimerSoße am Körper, die überraschenderweise auch für Einzelpersonen bestellbare Paella war sehr stark mit Cumin gefärbt, der Fischanteil und Fleischanteil waren etwas zu knapp bemessen für meinen Geschmack. Geschmacklich war sie sagen wir mal okay, habe hier in Miami Platya schon schlechtere gegessen, ganz besonders unten am Strand, aber auch schon eine viel bessere.
