Hotel Kazar — Hotel in Ontinyent

Very poor for an alledged 4 star hotel, bath had mould growing around edge, lighting very poor in bathroom, no shaving light, no blind on window only a net curtain, could see the apartment block opposite so they could see me, loo brush disgusting. Moving on to the hotel it's self, Wi-Fi unusable, it's unsecure, breakfast choice, very limited, evening meal OK, no vegetarian options, fish meat or nothing. To make a salad seems impossible in a country that lives of tomatoes and cheese, on the last morning, came down to breakfast, to find a limited amount of ham and a couple of bits of cheese, no orange juice as had ran out??? !.

There are a couple if good points, if you need to be in the centre of town then is a couple of minutes to shops bars etc. The staff are very good ( apart from the chef) who can't seem to prepare a salad, would I stay here again, not...

Room was very basic, no mini-bar, small bathroom, small room! View over a roof and some grotty flats. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant as we arrived late. There was a very limited choice - just a choice of 2 things! We chose the fish, which came just on its own, with a bit of sauce. No accompaniment. Same for my sons' steak - just steak, nothing with it. My fish was mostly undercooked, my partner's tasted of cleaning fluid, so we didn't eat it. We did complain but nothing was done. However, the dessert (only one option) was good. Breakfast was terrible, so little choice!||On the plus side, it was clean, good aircon, comfy bed, nice pool, friendly staff. Stayed for 2 nights. The brown bedroom was very clean but rather austere and bare. One small bed side light while there should be two.No chairs, a sad looking black small fridge, no tea/coffee making facility, TV positioned awkwardly in front of the mirror. One brown picture on the wall depicted Paris.||The beds were comfortable but the pillows were very hard. The view from the window was of a big apartment block.||||The restaurant was mostly deserted and looked uninviting.||||Reception staff seemed to be indifferent rather than welcoming. ||||Car park costs €6 per night and it is good to have this option, trying to find a space in the street is...
