Pazo de Arretén — Hotel in Padrón

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The staff kind and with a smile. Unfortunately we had an uncomfortable situation during breakfast time. Our group, 20 people, were having our breakfast in order to continue our walk to reach Santiago De Compostela. Some of us didn't eat their breakfast and decided to take it with since our journey was a long one. Basically a piece of bread and cheese. The staff got aggressive saying that we can not take the food with us, and they were standing over our heads like the police ready to arrest us in the event we did not comply. Let me clarify that the food was already in our plate. Half eaten. So it would go in the bin anyway. Of course we didnt go to the buffet to take something extra. Amazing location for a peaceful comfortable vacation. We only stayed one night but were greeted with a friendly reception and had the opportunity to book a masseuse that afternoon! In the morning, our hostess Dis took great care of us. Welcomed us down for breakfast and made sure we had a raft of tasty roasts and fruit etc to start our day including a delicious egg dish!

We would definitely stay again,...

It is an absolutely cosy quiet place with welcoming staff. You can see a mini apiary and free-range chickens on the grounds, it's very cute! The grounds of the estate are beautiful and large.
