The people working here are truly dedicated and want nothing more than for their guests' stay to be comfortable and enjoyable.||||The breakfast is possibly the best I had in the Priorat area, with local "embutidos" from the butcher in Porrera and Roxana's selection of homemade cakes is wonderful. The breakfast is plentiful and it's self-service. On the last day we had to leave very early, forcing the staff to also be up early, making us breakfast that we could have at 8am (on a Sunday). There were no complaints and we got the whole works as usual.||||The room was more than pleasant, with a nice big bed and good heating. The only complaint is that sometimes the water had to run nearly four minutes before it got hot. That is an incredible amount of water to waste and is quite unacceptable. This smal hotel has been refurbished in a contemporary style - very modern: some even find it a little stark - but very comfortable all the same. All very informal, with sitting areas and with small help-yourself honesty bar. Lovely roof top terrace at the top of the house with views out over the town. Breakfast was good with some of the items home-made.||Roxana is a great host and nothing seems too much trouble. She speaks excellent English and was happy to check our booking for an evening meal at the local bar / restuarant EL Rebost de Cal Carlets in the square (see my review) - with excellent choice of wines from the local Cellars. Habitación muy cómoda, calentita y espaciosa, ducha completa (tarda un poquito en salir el agua caliente) y de la columna de la ducha solo funciona la ducha, ni el hidromasaje ni los chorros. Baño pequeño pero completo, con secador y espejo de aumento. Jabón de manos y gel de ducha de cortesía. La televisión no funciona, como alternativa te invitan a usar la de la sala comunitaria de la entrada que si funciona. La luz de la habitación tienes que desenchufarla para que haya oscuridad, y si quieres cargar el móvil solo lo puedes hacer con la luz encendida, porque si la apagas cortas la corriente. El desayuno está bien, un bocadillo, una coca, café y una botella de agua. De lo que quieres para desayunar te toman nota cuando llegas para tenerte preparado por la mañana. Te lo ponen en todo en un cestito. La cocina la puedes utilizar a tu manera y es comunitaria. La cocina tiene cafetera expreso, tostadora, diferentes tipos de leches, azúcar, aceite y sal, nevera donde puedes guardar alguna cosa para mantener en fresco( como agua), tazas, platos,…, que puedes utilizar a tu aire. Te levantas cuando quieres y bajas a desayunar y te lo haces todo tu con lo que te dejan en la cestita (te explican cómo funciona todo), incluso te lo puedes llevar a la habitación o a cualquiera de las salas comunes. No hay nadie para atenderte, pero si lo necesitas, tienes el número de teléfono de la LUR siempre a mano para cualquier cosa. LUR es muy atenta, agradable y abierta a cualquier duda o problema que tengas. Me ha faltado algún tipo de mesilla en la habitación para poder dejar el desayuno o objetos varios (decir que hay 2 mesillas de noche con lámpara, y no es cuestión de dejar las lámparas en el suelo para coger la mesita). En el hotel está exactamente igual que en tu casa, si te vas cierras la puerta con llave y si entras igual, así se evitamos inconvenientes...
