The best place to eat you can choose from those located in Porrera. Litus, the owner, and his wife are in charge of everything, cooking and serving, which affects the time and quality of serving - the place is quite popular among the tourists and you should make a reservation in advance. The food is homemade, always fresh. They have a really good wine selection from the region btw, you can taste rare white Cariñena or 100% red Cariñena from the old vines among others or some classical blend of garnacha blanca together with picapoll and xarello by Cal Pla; garnacha+Cariñena from centenarian vines like Roquers de Porrera by L’encastell. But be ready to pay a bit extra for the opening of the bottle and the glasses. But in general nice...

Our first stop when visiting Porrera for a weekend of wine tasting and winery tours. Excellent local cuisine served in a warm cozy dining room. We shared a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. Depending on season certain items are available or not so take advantage of what’s in season. The curry and wild rice dishes are two very popular dishes for a good reason. We ordered local wines to go with our meal and they were all very good. Service is at a relaxed pace as there are only three people working the whole restaurant including the owner who is also the chef. Definitely make a reservation as they have limited space and only serve lunch...

An unforgettable experience. We had done a wine tasting in the morning and had come here for lunch. The town is out of a Fellini film and the restaurant is really charming. We were late but we were greeted warmly and with smiles. The menu was varied with a selection of locally sourced food. We shared several appetizers and each had a main course. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious. The wine list was equally well-curated and we enjoyed several bottles of excellent Priorat wines. Finally the she shares a selection of desserts, all excellent. Really a...

Go out of your way to eat here, if need be! Make sure to make a reservation and be prepared for a Catalan menu, which the owner will take care to explain to you in English. This was a unique experience in that it is both authentic, local foods, simple in decoration and ambiance fitting with Priorat, the staff are easy-going, delighted and proud to share their creations and wines. The food is excellent. Balanced in flavours, portion-size, variety of options, freshness, presentation, excellent!
