KFC...........It was a heavy night and it's been over 24 hours since I last ate anything! it was the end of the night and i was trying to find some fast food - I stumbled across a place however this waiter was staring at me funny he looked away then suddenly he did a double take, the second stare was horrific, it was like he knew me and was scared. I then looked around for clues as to why, then in the corner of my eye I saw a KFC sign....Oh no i though there onto me.... (flashback) Iv been on the run for over a year now I even had to flee to Amsterdam for a short while. About a year ago on a drunken night out I almost obliterated a KFC restaurant! I kicked down there door and smashed there windows - police was onto me, looking for me everywhere, I was so scared i didn't know what to do, I had to flee to Amsterdam to try and shake off the police, smoking did not help calm my nerves it made me paranoid that interpol will take over the case and I could then get arrested overseas and I did not want that to happen! I thought I will go back to the UK change my appearance and identity and NEVER go into a KFC ever again, as i knew they would employ spies into every restaurant world wide to try and catch me. (present) I now knew this waiter was a spy on the lookout for me, I now no his expression was not a horrified look it was more like "i got you" I then RAN as fast as i could (i put on a bit more weight as a "disguise" so was more like a slow jog) to what i thought was my safe place MY HOTEL (this is where we get to the 1 star review) I burst open the hotel door screaming "KFC are onto me they tracked me down" I went behind the counter desperately trying to find any keys so i could lock the reception door. They were pushing me away and shouting at me it was like they did not care and was pretending they didn't know me to protect themselves from KFC, I was trying desperately to find somewhere to hide. The receptionist was saying i'm kicked out already as I came in yesterday and I booked in October and its July and we had no spaces, I knew this was not true he was trying to protect himself like KFC were listening and watching our every move. I left the receptionist as he was not helping because at this point on the phone to the police or worse KFC. I had no idea what my room number was, just realized I left my bag in KFC (with everything in it including all my money and passwort) and also my coat that had my brand new earpods in there and they cost me £250 a week ago!! there was no way i was going back to them. They were in the hands of KFC now, god knows what they will be doing with that information, it had my hotel information in my bag and that will lead KFC back here! I ran back down to the receptionist however he had his friends around him, there were not happy with me kept saying im noisy and recoless- they were all looking at me very strange like that KFC guy and had me wondering maybe they are apart of the chain - I ran away from this hotel, it was a horrible place, was supposed to be my safe house, somewhere i could trust that would keep me safe. I didn't expect them to be controlled by KFC, That night i had to sleep on the streets as i felt like all the hotels were controlled by KFC. I'm not sure if i can go back to the UK now, i need to find somewhere that is not controlled by KFC. reviewing for a friend btw...
Read moreI am absolutely disgusted with this hotel and will never be staying here again. The primary reason for this is the rudeness of the manager, and the scamming nature of the facility.
I stayed here with my friend, and halfway through our seven night stay we got a knock on our room door at around 4pm after just having woken up from a nap. It was the manager telling us to keep our voices down as there was a sick woman next door. Although we had already been speaking at a borderline whisper due to having not long been awake, we did not complain and continued to oblige.
Two days later we got another knock at 1pm to demand we come downstairs, and we’re told our card had been charged €200 for noise related issues. When complaining about this (futile since the money had already been taken by the time we were informed) we were directed rudely to the hotel rules. Talking during the daytime did not violate hotel policy. We were not loud in any other way during our stay, our speaker broke on the first day so we did not even play music for the entire duration we were there, plus we were out most days and nights.
The next day we went downstairs on time to check out and I was threatened by the manager and told not to even think about trying to claim my money back from my bank, or leave a bad review. I told him I would do what I pleased and he continued to follow me all the way upstairs and around the pool shouting at me aggressively. I was alone and as a female I felt extremely intimidated by this.
I went to get my friend and he continued to threaten me, and tell us he was going to call the police.
In addition to this we did not have working plumbing for the entire time we were there. Almost every day our toilet blocked, and our shower overflowed twice and partially flooded our room. The pool was full of bugs and was not swimmable for most of our stay too.
We have since read reviews and it seems that the managers behaviour is common and he has threatened people, followed them round the hotel, and harassed them before. We also saw people describe incidents of being locked out of the hotel for days at a time without access to their belongings.
Worst experience, will never return here and recommend nobody else does either.
If I could rate it zero stars I would! They are SCAMMERS and you should AVOID at all costs!
The photos included shows just one time our bathroom flooded into our room due to blocked shower and...
