Some good food is a need when feeling a little rough in Ibiza #ibiza #laguay #breakfast #brunch #sanantonio

Stayed here from 20th August for 5 nights. Was slightly worried before I arrived as I have mobility issues and the travel agent had already messed up informing the airline. I needn't have worried though as Ibiza Rocks Hotel were great. I would imagine they don't get too many people with mobility problems, but they were more than happy to accommodate my needs. Including going out their way to unlock a door, that is normally closed overnight, on demand and without even a hint of complaint. I must give special mention to two of the security guards who were especially helpful and friendly. One, I'm afraid I didn't get his name, but i hope October comes quick for him (he'll know what i mean), frequently assisted me so I could get to/from my room without having to use stairs, and Marcel who was just as brilliant and never too busy to help. The room was clean and had everything you would expect in a hotel. Actually, it was the first hotel I've stayed in that didn't have cockroaches in the room, so well done for that 👍. Cleaning staff don't speak any English, but will make it clear you've to leave the room while they work. They won't give any indication of how long they'll be, so if you want to go back to bed you'll just need to keep checking they're done (or just refuse the clean - like I should have 🤦‍♂️). Staff are helpful throughout the hotel. Prices in the chill out pool snack bar, are a bit on the steep side, but in line with most other places, and cheaper than some (down cafe mambo and cafe del mar way, especially). The hotel in in a good location, with a taxi rank right outside. Though most people generally walk down to the strip as it's not that far for those who can walk ok. However, there are a lot of guys hanging around outside openly trying to accost you and sell you some dodgy stuff. Given this happens all over the place, I can only assume the police tolerate them. Word of caution for you all. When down at the strip and some dirty grabs your arm offering whatever, put your hand on your wallet as her other hand will be looking for it. Quite prevalent down that way. Thankfully, no hookers outside the hotel. As for the venue, I never went down to it as I'd gotten a venue view room, which had a great view. Plus, it didn't look like there was any seating other than for those who paid for VIP. This seems to be standard in all venues on the island though. Whether they could have accommodated me without having to pay, i dont know as i never asked. But,like I said, the view from the room balcony was fine and enabled me to sit down whenever I wanted/needed to. If you've also got mobility problems, I recommend paying the little bit extra for a venue view room. Definitely worth the money (and you can just drink whatever you've put in your fridge, which is gonna be far cheaper for you as well 😉). This already a novel, so I'll finish here. In short, ibiza is generally way behind other places when it comes to accommodating people with disabilities. Ibiza Rocks Hotel is one of the better places and will do their best to accommodate your needs. For the able bodied, it's exactly what you'd expect in a Spanish hotel with the bonus of having a popular venue, which you can attend for free as part of staying there. What's not to like?!

Arrived, and you have to give a deposit for some tax reason(6 euros) , and your given a wristband, to get into your room. No where and I mean no where opens here until midnight, yes you can eat out and dine but very limited in what there is nearby, a lot of walking involved, getting lost too, lol. As it all looks the same. Going back to the hotel, beds very comfortable, and very clean, fridge cooker, plates, cups glasses. The Estella lager is an aquuired taste, and thats all thats served, all the guests pretty much said the same, it was off season so quiet but just enough guests to make it brilliant. Met some amazing people and new friends as definitely going back again this year. Breakfast in the morning is legendary, go down and pay 15 euros, all you can eat. And the food was amazing, sorry no pictures, was bit worse for where night before. But trust me. Very nice!! Pool always clean, always good atmosphere. There is also the food shop which pretty much sells everything apart from paracetamol. Leave the hotel, take a right, then another go straight down some steps, come back on yourself going left, pharmacy there, as heartburn ruined my 1st day there. In the room at night, it's just crickets sound, loved it. Not a loud place at all really as saw the rate of sleep you get here. Trust me, you sleep, cocktail bar, BarLady is amazing. And will try new things with you. Skip the ice though, as there is a lot, nice though alcoholic slush puppy. I like my drinks neat, and not a slush puppy. Again very nice though. And a lovely person, as are all the staff. Security 24/7 didn't witness any problems at all. Highly recommended, I'm going back, definitely. Everybody super friendly.. 👌 👍

What a shame! We came here in 2018 and it was amazing, there was a jacuzzi and you could use the pool at the pool party, which is why we booked here again. Now they've made nearly the whole pool VIP beds and left a tiny part of the pool for the peasants. All they're interested in at this place is taking your money. If you're a guest at the hotel, don't expect to be able to enjoy the pool party without paying hundreds more euros, they've made it so it's 90% VIP area only which costs 100's of euros for a bed. For 1 drink and mixer it's 17.50Euro which is just insane. It's cheaper for drinks at O Beach - and you get full use of the swimming pool there too even if you're not VIP!

The first room we were put in was room 321, absolutely stinks of sweat and cigarettes and the air con smelt mouldy and weird. The only thing good about this room was the view of the stage area. The first night we arrived we were exhausted from travelling and wanted to rest so we could party for the weekend - IF YOU WANT REST OR SLEEP DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! at midnight they start using a beeping crane and massive inflator thing to set up the hanging displays for the next day, then from like 2am, every 10 minutes there were people screaming shouting and banging coming past the room, people vomiting in the hallways, music blasting from other rooms, it was ridiculous, this continued until 8am, which at this point they then start air blasting the stage outside for cleaning and then spend hours jet washing with the noisiest jet wash you ever heard. So we got about 2 hours sleep in the whole night and felt like absolute cr@p in the morning.

We went to reception to complain, and were told that we should phone to reception if there's noise after midnight and they will send security. So every 10 mins we should phone security, for the people screaming and shouting to already be gone by the time they get there 🙄 The manager then said to me ''well it is party hotel so you can't expect quiet hotel'' so basically if you don't do drugs and want to actually sleep at any point then don't even think about this place as an option. She did move us rooms to room 523, which is a room next to some sort of insane mechanic generator or something that makes noise the whole night through - drove us insane when we were hanging in the mornings but we couldn't be bothered to complain again.

We had the with breakfast option and the buffet breakfast was really nice, the mac and cheese balls are lovely. English bacon, everything you'd expect from an English fry up. Lots of nice fresh fruit and yoghurt too. Coffee was nice, juices were that cheap nasty watery stuff. Highly recommend the melon or watermelon daiquiris they were gorgeous. We tried a pitta for lunch - they weren't so good, no flavour and dry.

So, if you don't take drugs to stay awake all night and you want any kind of decent sleep, I'd seriously suggest you find a different hotel. If you want to go to an event here, just book a different hotel and buy a day ticket to go here for the day.

Really disappointed, and made to feel silly by manager when we complained about getting no sleep, we were fully aware it's a party hotel but your events finish at 9pm as you clearly state. Maybe you should have security walking around the corridors at night keeping check on the noise 🤔 We are humans and we do all require sleep - even if if staying at a...

We stayed at Ibiza rocks for 1 week to have the whole experience of a girls holiday. Our holiday was booked through jet 2 so was inclusive of transfers, flights and the hotel. (Be warned, the transfer drops you off a 10 minute walk away from the hotel on the Main Street). There were 4 in total so we had to have 2 separate rooms, they put us in rooms next to each other as the hotel is pretty big. The atmosphere its self was great, great for the party atmosphere, the events were included and also very good so we can’t complain at that. The prices were also reasonable for food and drinks in comparison to the clubs and bars in Ibiza. However, I personally wouldn’t rate the hotel 3 stars. The hotel itself is quite run down, on our first day we had to get maintenance out twice due to the air con leaking water all over the floor, which was fixed for the rest of the holiday, but we also had no hot water. The hot water situation was a quick fix for one day. Throughout the rest of our stay we had no hot water and it got to the point where when we ran the tap for hot water no water would come out. Luckily we knew other people staying in different rooms so we could shower there. As we were self catering, we decided to buy pasta to make using the hob provided, but the hob did not get hot enough to even boil the water and then when we turned it off the fuse for the electricity went for the whole corridor so we had no lights, couldn’t charge anything, couldn’t make food, and after this for the rest of the holiday we had to plug in electrical items in our friends hotel rooms as when we plugged them in they crackled and wouldn’t work. Not only this, the rooms were not cleaned at all. The cleaners only provide you with towels and toilet rolls, no fresh bedding and they didn’t even sweep the floor. We had to ask on numerous occasions for them to take empty food boxes as the bins are also small and they only take whatever’s in the bin. We also went down to the bar in the reception of the hotel for a drink before we went out, the wine tasted off and there were also no clean glasses, we were told that one of our friends couldn’t have a glass of wine because there wasn’t a wine glass. After 5 minutes she found 4 used glasses, rinsed them under the sink with just water and that was that. Overall, if I was to visit Ibiza again, I would choose a different hotel due to the cleanliness and lack of facilities that work. Me and my friends decided to ignore the bad reviews due to thinking people may be expecting a 5 star hotel, however after this stay I wouldn’t recommend staying here, but would definitely recommend booking the events on the days you’d...
