Great food and amazing service. Benitez is clearly a place where you would find locals eating. Then you know it’s good! We visited couple of times. The seafood paella is very tasty with really fresh seafood. Considering the price you won’t find better. The aioli with green olives on side also very tasty. Fried jambo shrimps prepared simple with a bit of garlic on top were very fresh and very tasty as well. The squid rings also very fresh and tasty except the batter was not salted enough. Well, you can put a bit of aioli and you’re all good. About the tapas, for two people for example do not get intimidated to order more than 3 tapas. The portions are huge. We ordered anchovies, mini chorizo, tripes and pan fried octopus. Everything was very tasty except for the mini chorizo which was the best! Don’t forget to go for a breakfast also, they serve crunchy tostadas with tomato, cheese, jamon you name it. Try the traditional one which is tomatoes tostada and coffee with cream and feel like a...

I wasn’t sure if he followed me even though I think the waiter spoke fluent English. He insisted that we should queue despite my explanations. After 15 minutes, it was our turn and we received good service from the waitress. The waiter chose not to speak with us even though he was closer to us.
Overall, the food was big in portion but the...

When I confronted the waiter about it, he shrug it off and said something in Spanish to me fully knowing that I don't speak a lick of it to try and ignore my issue. When I finally got to talk to someone in English, they fully ignored the issue and kept insisting that I pay for the meal even though I found a hair in it. I understood that I was almost done my plate at this point, but any establishment who has respect for their clients would scrape it off the bill and apologize for the mistake. I even suggested to pay for half, considering I did eat a decent amount of it before I found the hair, but they did not budge. In summary, I will...
