Laura S'Atalaya studios — Hotel in Sant Antoni de Portmany

I would just like to preface my review by saying that the staff behind the pool bar and the inside bar are not the staff I’m referring to here. They were all lovely, attentive and I cannot fault a single one of them. ||During our 5 night stay in this hotel, our room was not cleaned once. The only thing that was changed was our towels were changed once, maybe twice during our visit (the bedding was not changed at all nor were the floors swept or wiped, nothing was provided for us to do this ourselves either). Unfortunately, I noticed 3 days into our visit that one of my designer rings that I hadn’t worn outside the room had disappeared. I had placed it under some of my belongings on the bedside table because the safe in the room wasn’t working, and the bedroom was not cleaned at all during our stay so there was no reason for it to have moved or for anybody to have been in the bedroom. |I asked the staff behind the bar who said they would check and took note of my room number and said they’d keep it safe if someone handed it in. Upon checking out, we were checked out by housekeeping staff who spoke to us in fluent English and when I asked about my ring, she replied by saying she did not speak English and began talking to me in Spanish, even though we had just had a 5 minute conversation in English. I am very disappointed with this treatment from the housekeeping staff as you don’t go on holiday to have your belongings stolen, so just something to be aware of if you stay...

Great stay for a friends group holiday. We were very impressed to say this is 2.5 rating. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is no lift in this hotel so something to note if you struggle with stairs. We had 2 very clean, modern apartments- just what we needed for a 4 night stay. Very spacious with plenty of room for suitcases etc and found the safe very useful and free of charge! The kitchen is useful however there is no oven so hobs were mainly used. |Location is perfect for all the prime locations in San Antonio. Only a short walk to mambos and the bus station where you can get to all the major clubs.||The rooms didn’t get cleaned very often. We got clean towels on some days but bedding wasn’t changed. This wasn’t so much of a problem for 4 nights. Our bins didn’t get changed until I asked the cleaning lady. This is a bit of an issue for a self catering hotel||Overall we had a great stay and would look to come back here...

You know what, I really like this hotel. Stayed here twice now, and both times have been a positive experience. The staff and the guys that run the place are excellent. Everything is clean and tidy, food is ok as well, good value for money at least. Rooms are spacious & and clean, and you have everything you need. Beds are comfy. The hotel is no good if you have mobility issues, so please bear this in mind. Same with the location, although it's quiet, you are out the way. And it's walk into town, about 10-15 mins walk. Or 6€ in a taxi. But aside from location for me its definitely a nice hotel. I'd had an operation this time round i went here, so I struggled a bit. Also I dont knkw about other tour operators, JET2 drop you off 10 mins away from the hotel, so you have to drag your luggage to the hotel. And the same again on pick up. So also...
