Stayed 12-18th August. 3 adults and 4 children. We had a villa which slept eight. The villa itself is very tastefully decorated with all new appliances and furnishings. 40Mbs WiFi which extended over the whole villa and pool was a must for the children. The villa is very well equipped with all of the mod cons including cooker, microwave, hob, coffee machine (Philips Senseo), dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The rooms are beautiful including a single with on suite, a double with en-suite and two doubles. At the front of the villa there is a seating area with dining space for eight as well as two comfy sofas. There is off road parking for two cars and the villa is quite secure via a locked entry gate. The pool was lovely, clean and warm although for part of the holiday we did have to time share with a french family in the main house. This was not an issue though. I cannot overstate how wonderful our hosts were. Good communications before we arrived. Very welcoming at the villa with a complimentary bottle of Cava in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble including driving me around for a couple of hours trying to pay a municipal parking ticket! Casa Soleada has only been open for tourism for four months but Wojtek and Witek definitely have the winning formula and I know will make a great success. Muchas gracias for a...
Read moreI can't rate Casa Soleada highly enough.
Settled in the hills of Sant Vicenç de Montalt, just a short train journey from the centre of Barcelona to the west and Girona to the east, it's a sprawling, nine-bedroom villa that was perfect for myself and 16 friends, who recently stayed there to celebrate the 30th birthdays of my wife and brother.
Each room is generously sized and decorated to a high spec and there are enough bathrooms for all guests. The common areas also feel luxurious and there's a big kitchen and BBQ area to help cook those large meals!
The villa is just a short walk to the local grocery store and beach, where you'll also find a number of beach-front restaurants, visited by the locals so you know they're good (our favourite was Ohnades).
I think what makes Casa Soleada truly special is its hosts. Wojtek and Witek were so incredibly attentive and helpful, from the moment I booked our trip to the moment we left. They live on site, but give you complete privacy. And they're on hand if ever you need them - the perfect combination.
We all enjoyed our stay immensely and we will recommend this palace to anyone looking to visit Catalunya...
