I honestly haven't read any other reviews here, so whatever issue someone else may have had to make this establishment have a 3.3 star rating surely must have been either misunderstanding, an off night, or bias of some sort. I found the food to be delightful. Our table shared many items; among them the traditional Patatas Bravas, Hampshire Carpaccio, Tuna Carpaccio, Grilled Scallops, and many more. Everything was delightful and served in a pace that ensured our party of 11 was able to share and keep the food flowing. Also flowing was the wine. Our server was very attentive. The music was apropos and very chill. Jazz renditions in both English and Spanish of Top 40 pop songs as well as jazz standards. I can't compliment this place enough. I honestly would have been put off by the 3.3 rating except that I was staying across the street, so I gave it a chance with just my wife and I. Absolutely unjustified prices and disappointing taste What was bad: Steamed muscles - super small, no taste, probably pretty old Squids andalusian style - frozen and no crisp Limefish- diabolical amount of balsamic masking poor fish taste What was good: Big seabas was cooked properly, not dry, but absolutely absent seasoning and skin wasn't cleaned, so you can't enjoy the crust (and it was 60 euros) Fried anchovies - well cooked but again no seasoning. You can fix it with some salt and lemon Meat was good Service - friendly waiters, one even spoke English which is pretty rare here. This is undoubtedly one of the best chiringuitos that I have visited this summer. The raw ingredients (fish/shellfish) have been on par with some of the best restaurants that I have been to in Barcelona and the service was spot on. I very rarely give a restaurant 10 out of 10, never-lone a chiringuito and almost never take time to add a review, but this place deserves it.
