Been there only for one night before catching our flight from Granada airport. The hotel is a three star, with dreams to be of higher category. The structure is huge, rooms are of good size and generally renovated, however they miss some details like the tap of sink totally ruined in a recently renovated bathroom. For breakfast we were addressed to an underground area where there was only a group of Chinese tourists eating. The buffet was therefore salty, with almost no chance of having something sweet. Only available, bread, marmelade (some of them were expired and rotten) and the level of hygiene of dishes was quite poor. There should be more care about these details. Personnel at reception was very kind and helpful, while at buffet there were only two waiters for thee entire group and they spent their time mainly chatting and not replenishing the food. The position of hotel is strategic- 5 km only from Granada airport, but the access from the highway is not intuitive and easy, even with a GPS. We had to drive in circles before being able to enter the parking. Worth for one night if you need to catch an early flight, otherwise there are many other opportunities...
Read moreI cam here with my boyfriend for a night in Granada. We had a car and so we didn't mind that we were in Santa Fe rather than Granada itself. The reception looks quite spacious and grand when you enter. The room that we had was spotlessly clean and pleasant to stay in. No problem at all with that. However, the breakfast was a disgrace. There seem to be only two people working in this hotel and trying to do everything at once. It is obvious that due to the crisis in Spain, the hotel is trying to make cutbacks by not employing so many staff. However, this means that the service provided is substandard. There was nobody in the breakfast room, the cutlery was dirty/cloudy and many basic items that you expect to see at a breakfast buffet were not there. There was an English breakfast and continental breakfast to chose from, but even my Spanish boyfriend was not impressed. The only good thing about this hotel are the rooms. I wouldn't recommended anything else. The staff were friendly enough. Parking access is...
Read moreDespite it’s a 4 star hotel, its a bit hard to believe how it got even 2. First of all when you enter the room, some kind of insect might be welcoming you. (Which is what happened to us) second, The lighting is terrible at the room and you barely see something at the night time. But the shower is the worst! They put the smallest showers ever made even though there is space in the bathroom. If you are a person who like to have shower every day, a hard time on this hotel is expecting you. Breakfast is poor but we have been traveling Spain for the past week, and stayed some different hotels as far as I saw they don’t really care about the breakfast too much. If you wish to use the mens room next to reception, the sink is not working properly. The hotel is located 15 km away from the city center so if you are not travveling with a vehicle, transportation might be...
