Hotel Cim Vallès — Hotel in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda

I stayed here with a student tour. My group had 10 students & the other 2 groups had an additional 35 chaperones & students. 2 of the 4 rooms my group had no AC. The hotel said it would be fixed, it wasn’t. The other 2 groups also had no AC in 1/2 of their rooms. It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel. The non smoking rules are not enforced. The hallways on the second floor where we were smelling like cigarette smoke. It was loud. The bar customers on the outside terrace made a lot of noise. It kept many of my group up. The breakfast is adequate & my group liked it. The kitchen staff works really hard but it was difficult for one person to keep up with the several groups. The front desk staff was one person & while very nice really couldn’t help with the no AC & smoking when we complained. I wouldn’t stay again. It’s far away from the city center in Barcelona and is very industrial. Stayed midweek Monday to Friday.||||Room was clean and typical of a budget accommodation stay. Beds were actually comfy and had good clean Aircon and windows that opened up.||||Wifi was across the whole hotel although my room had problems picking this up on a portable device - was fine on the laptop. good speed too, with open access so enough to watch HD movies etc||||Resteraunt was very basic, but food was quick and as described. The bar is always buzzing with locals, many truckers and bikers, which leads me onto the next point.||||Be cautious, this hotel is in an industrial estate with very little amenities near by. It seems more like an upmarket and tidy trucker Motel than anything. The area felt safe though but not an area I would recommend for a family or a couple.||||One thing to note : It is very ideal for access to circuit de Catalunya and right on the motorway...
