Casa Elana | Holiday Rental | Torrox Pueblo — Hotel in Torrox

We spent a month in Casa Elana in Torrox, Spain. The Casa is a traditional Spanish townhouse with a very tiny footprint on each of the four levels. Each level is approximately 9' x 23'. A narrow steep stone stairwell connects all levels. You wash your clothes on level 2 and bring them up to level 4 to dry on the roof patio....Spanish style. You will get your cardio exercise in this casa, which is a good thing. For someone with mobility issues, you may wish to look for a single level condo elsewhere. Casa Elana is quaint, clean and has lots of storage space and no clutter. The owner, Steve, takes care of all issues immediately. You can count on Steve. The neighborhood is charming....old Pueblo-style housing along the whole neighborhood......up, down and sideways. Lots of delightful discoveries. The walk to the local bus is about 14 minutes, very reasonable. The town square is comfortable with outdoor restaurant patios for afternoon visits and drinks in the sunshine. If you want an English breakfast or some afternoon tapas, visit Gareth's. Absolutely must try their thick hot chocolate. Torrox is very close to Nerja and Malaga for great day trips. We enjoyed our stay in Torrox and Casa Elana. It will surely give you the 'Spanish neighborhood' experience in all its multi-faceted...

I have just spent 7 nights in this beautiful village house. It was a very special experience and gave me the feeling of being in the centre of the Spanish quality of life. There was really nothing missing, the furnishings correspond exactly to the walk through video on the official website, nothing is embellished or promised that wasn't there. Despite the lively activity on the village street during the day, it was absolutely quiet inside the house when the windows and doors were closed. The view of the village and surrounding area from the roof terrace is breathtaking! There is also a car park opposite, 1 minute walk away. I was also surprised that you can explore the whole village without climbing steep stairs. The internet on all floors is fast and reliable! Great house that has been lovingly restored and is equipped with everything you need. Lovely roof terrace which gets the sun all day and has views across to the mountains. Torrox Pueblo is an ideal base for exploring this part of Andalucia. Excellent communication with the owners who also provide useful tips and much helpful advice.
