Dukes — Restaurant in Torrox

Aware that Dukes had very recently relocated from Torrox Costa to the Pueblo with excellent reviews we decided to call in to see what all the fuss is about ! Pre booked our table for 2 (online )and it's always a nice touch when your name is on the table reservation ✅️ Staff were super keen to please and serve & we appreciated their honesty when we were told there would be a delay in our order.This happens wheh new establishments are finding their feet.When the food came it was piping hot and absolutely delicious - so many flavours Respect for them not compromising the quality of the meal in order to rush it out! Found Dukes bar through tripadvisor and Google maps as we are staying in the area for a few days. Must say we had a brilliant food experience here this evening. We shared a bruschetta and chicken goujons to start which were both really tasty. Then shared pork ribs and chicken wrap for mains. The ribs were just stunning and the wrap very very good, For desert we just shared an apple crumble with ice cream, again really good. Can’t praise this place enough for food quality and value for money. Staff were super friendly and made sure everything was ok during service. Loving this welcome new addition to Torrox's eateries - family owned, the manager/chef produces a small number of extremely tasty large international tapas dishes and plated meals from a growing repertoire, including excellent vegetarian options. Always a genuinely warm welcome, with excellent food and drinks, it's already one of our favourites. Update 20 May 2023 - Dukes Bar continues to thrive, thanks to Nathan's addition of innovative new dishes to the menu , including tasty vegetarian options.
