La Plaza Restaurant — Restaurant in Torrox

Terrible.

This place was a horrible experience. We waited for 1 hour and 20 minuttes for a starter, which was cold and not cooked proberly. We asked for our maincourses and 20 min. later our pizzas arrived. One of them was the wrong pizza, and they forgot one of the others. The chicken was like leather, and the sauce was like water and uneatable because of foul taste.

Not even did they forget about the beer, but it was also warm when it finally arrived.

We complained about the service and the waiting time, and the waiter told us that the waiting was normal, and this wasn’t McDonalds. We told them that we would pay for the drinks, but not the food. The owner wasn’t happy about that and cleaned the table as fast as a horricane.

Another waiter came out and told us we didn’t have to pay, and on our way the owner came running with the check and told us to pay.

The owner afterwards told us “Go home”. We Will go home, and never return to...

We sat down and I was given Pepsi when I asked for Coca cola (which wasn’t a problem but was rather strange). The waiter took an age to then take our order, even though the terrace was more or less empty.

I ordered a margarita pizza thinking that it would be prepared there but unfortunately it seemed to be a frozen pizza that was served to me.

The pizza base had small, perfectly-spaced holes in the mass and the cheese and tomato was tasteless.

To be honest, my partner and I finished the pizza because we were starving, but we wouldn’t recommend going here if there is space next door or in the Italian...

The only word I can think of to describe this location is mediocre. The service is slow slow and not interested in the guests. We tried the paella, which was possibly the worst I had ever eaten in my life. It was bland, pale in color, and came across as having been dug out of a bucket and smeared in to the pan.
