I passed through this albergue in 2011 on the Camino. It was clean. Today, as a pilgrim once again passing through this sleepy town, I popped my head through the beaded curtain to see into the foyer. An older man was seated reading the newspaper. I explained in spanish that I wanted to see the albergue, to which he responded in spanish that it was private property. I explained that I had been there a few years before. I got a short response in Spanish to effect of "great". Now, this town has about 4-5 businesses and all are for pilgrims. Read moreStayed in twin room in this albergue when doing Camino. Outside was warm and sunny but rooms inside were very chilly. Luckily we had a plug in electric heater. I was very surprised that sheets were not provided in a private room and we had to use our sleeping bags. Only small worn hand towels were provided. By contrast the bathroom was very spacious and luxurious. There were laundry facilities and clothes line in the sunshine. There were 2 restaurants in the village doing pilgrim meals but no shop if you wanted to cook. Was a bit disappointed considering the price but very limited choice of accommodation and next...
