Pearl View Galle Villa — Hotel in Galle

The location is nice. Although the property is still under construction since it opened just a couple of months ago, the top floor is complete. The room we stayed in was clean, with a spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also sufficient for our needs, and the linens were fresh and clean. Outside the room, there is a shared space with two other rooms, which includes a small dining area, a fridge, and a place to wash dishes—very convenient! The room had air conditioning, which is great for the hot Sri Lankan summer. Just a note: the TV and all the mentioned kitchen appliances (like the fridge and dishwashing area) are shared between three rooms, not private to each room. We didn't see other devices mentioned on Booking (like iron, hair dryer), but maybe if you ask for them, the host can provide. The electrical kettle is not per room, it is shared. The owner’s family is incredibly kind and welcoming. We happened to stay during Tamil New Year, and they graciously prepared some traditional food for us in the morning—it was delicious! They also offer breakfast, though we didn't eat on-site. The location is on the main road, and our room faced it. It wasn’t a problem for us, but light sleepers should know the windows aren’t fully soundproof. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room at the back, which might be quieter. Even though it's a bit far from Galle center, you can call a tuk-tuk via PickMe, and they typically arrive in 5 minutes. During the holidays, it took a bit longer, but outside of that, it was quick. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Pearl View Galle Villa with a group of friends and their families, and it was truly a wonderful experience. We booked the entire villa for ourselves, and from the moment we arrived, we felt very much at home. The villa is conveniently located in Galle, just a few minutes’ drive from the Pinnaduwa highway interchange, making it extremely easy to find.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, each featuring large balconies that offer a relaxing space to unwind. The villa also has a well-appointed dining room, perfect for group meals and gatherings. One of the highlights of our stay was the food — it was absolutely delicious! They are very flexible with the menu, and you can request meals according to your personal preferences, which was a big plus for us.

The owner was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Whatever we requested, they made sure to arrange promptly and with a smile. Parking was very convenient too, with enough space for four vehicles inside the premises, and they even have additional parking available next door if needed.

Another major advantage is the villa’s close proximity to the beach — it’s just a short walk away. Considering the quality of service, location, and the facilities provided, the cost was very reasonable. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pearl View Galle Villa! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with how clean and new the rooms were. The space is thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

The food was, without a doubt, the best I tasted in Sri Lanka! Each meal was freshly prepared with incredible flavors, and I highly recommend trying their local dishes—you won’t be disappointed.

The villa is ideally located, just a short distance from the iconic Galle Fort and beautiful beaches. It was so convenient to explore the area, whether by foot or tuk-tuk.

The terrace is a true gem for relaxation. In the evenings, I loved enjoying a cold drink while taking in the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings.

What truly made this stay special, though, was the host. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. Whether it was offering delicious meal options, arranging transportation, or providing fantastic recommendations for things to see and do in the area, the host’s warm hospitality made all the difference.

I can’t recommend Pearl View Galle Villa enough—it’s the perfect blend of comfort, location, and outstanding service! Would love to stay again next time...
