Lake Infinity Luxury Condos — Hotel in Sri Lanka

THERE ARE PROS AND CONS !! It’s a good place the maintenance manager was really good , he is a problem solver. It has a steep road to go to the apartments and it’s not safe at all for kids , old people even the youngsters. SPECIALLY DURING THE RAINY SEASON!! Going on a vacation means we go to enjoy not to meet with accidents. And lots and lots of stairs to climb !! Imagine QUARTER OF SIRIPADE !! With ur baggages They do clean but overall cleanliness is not up to standards. There was Mould in all the apartments we booked. But the room temperature should be adjusted accordingly to the weather even though we rented heaters it was no help at all cos for few hours of temperature management inside the apartment want be helpful for years of negligence! from the day it was done ! we had to change my sisters apartment since she was a patient before booking I did explained my requests and concerns complications but still I had to change rooms since it had mould , and after the trip her condition got worst and she left the country being sick again !! Mind you the rooms are full of BUGS and the windows / French windows you have installed doesn’t lock at all !!!! Where was the safety ?? Just think twice before you go it doesn’t have a beautiful view but okay for the prices they offer but if someone had really reviewed this I would have never chosen this place ! I don’t have pictures of the steep road if anyone goes by please do update ! Cause my aunt had a bad fall and we thought we will Have to do a skin draft !! Also it’s not luxurious as the say it’s DAMP !! But all the appliances are provided ( should be honest with what they do ) a good stay for money as long as you are a pilgrimage in Nuwaraeliya!! but not safe at all cos some one or other could fall , during the rainy season the floors slips like hell !! Cos the water that drains it directly comes in front of the apartment and they have tiled it and it’s slippery like you have trampled a banana peel! If you book this place be careful you can slip and fall !! To be honest for the budget it’s good but safe side it’s 0 ! Mind you their generator wasn’t working in December 2023 I don’t know the situation now , drivers quoters are way far from the apartments and it’s extremely slippery and wasn’t good at all my driver had a bad fall !! If you are booking this during the rainy season think twice paying where els bit more is better than braking a leg arm or scaring ur face ! Management is really good have to admit it the manager whom we had in December was really concerned and attentive!! But not a good stay by safety and other expectations!! I would prefer paying where els little higher! The condo and its amenities were highly satisfying, spotlessly clean and fancy. we stayed for two nights and inside the condo is warm and comfortable its well sealed so the inside stays warm even the outside is freezing cold. Beds, the bath, and the sofa was very cozy. If you want to stay indoors and relax they had peo TV connection as well. Only drawback was that kitchen sink didn't have hot water, yet the bathroom sink had hot-water and we could take water from there to a bucket/bowl and use in the kitchen.

I loved the fact that they had all the necessary kitchen utensils provided. spoons, folks, knives, rice cooker with a steamer, electric kettle, microwave, refrigerator, sauce pans, all sorts of drinking glasses, tea jugs, cups and sauces, 4 stove burner and a smoke exhauster. There was a fancy pantry and a bar counter. I didn't like the frying pan they had provided, it was a bit of a hassle to get the eggs fried since its so sticky. So, the next time I would definitely carry a non-stick frying pan with me.

The place provides a menu of "De Silva Food" from which the guests can call and order directly from De Silva and they deliver to door step. We understand its not Lake Infinity's responsibility but an additional service they provide mediating the two parties. On the night we arrived we ordered tom yum soup (3), A pepper chicken and a chicken choupsey rice which took 2 hrs to deliver and the food wasn't good at all. choupsey rice was tasteless so we could manage eating. but other two was too salty and sour/acidic.

We stayed at Lake Infinity Luxury Condos for two nights in October 2024. We booked an apartment for seven people, and while the location was convenient, we had a few issues during our stay:

Space Issues: Even though there were enough beds for all seven of us, the living area was really small. The dining table only had space for five, so we couldn’t all eat or celebrate together. The sofa was also tiny, barely fitting three people comfortably. For the price we paid (55,000 LKR), I think we could have found somewhere more spacious. I’m pretty sure they have larger apartments because I saw photos online, so if you’re booking for a bigger group, double-check the size of the apartment before you commit.

No Wi-Fi on the Second Day: We lost Wi-Fi on the second day. When I asked the manager about it, he told me the data quota had run out, which was a surprise since they advertise free Wi-Fi. Had we switched apartments between days, we might have had internet on both days! 😄

Communication Problems: After booking, it was tough to get in touch with the staff—I had to call multiple times over three days before I got any response. Even after we arrived, the person they gave me to contact didn’t always answer, which was frustrating.

Hot Water Issues: The hot water system wasn’t great. The water didn’t heat up much, which was disappointing.
