Stepping into the grand lobby, I immediately knew this hotel was more than just a place to stay â it was an experience in elegance. The architecture, the ambient lighting, the attention to detail â everything screamed luxury. It was the perfect backdrop for a professional photoshoot.
From the polished marble floors to the tastefully curated art on the walls, every corner of the property provided a photogenic moment. The staff were not just welcoming, but exceptionally cooperative. They made sure our shoot went smoothly â assisting with location access, lighting needs, and maintaining a peaceful environment throughout.
We explored various spaces â the plush suites, the sky-high terrace, and even the grand staircases â each with its own aesthetic charm. Natural light flowed generously through the large windows, creating a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth.
This hotel doesnât just meet 5-star standards â it deserves to be celebrated as a top-tier location for both leisure and creative projects. If youâre looking for a setting that adds class and timeless luxury to your photos, this...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel as a group of eleven people. I donât usually leave reviews, but in this case I feel it's important to share our experience â especially for other guests considering a stay in the highlands.
The hotel claims to be just four months old and already has many five-star reviews, which I honestly find a bit surprising.
On the positive side, the staff â from the hotel manager to the service team â were all exceptionally friendly and genuinely tried to make our stay comfortable. Thatâs the main reason Iâm giving three stars.
However, the hotel urgently needs to improve its basic infrastructure, especially given the cold highland climate. There was no heating in the rooms, which made the nights very uncomfortable. The hot water supply was also inconsistent â a serious issue in such a chilly environment.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but it really needs to address these issues quickly. With improvements, a higher rating would absolutely be possible.
Anyhow, I wish all the best to...

We stayed at the London Eye Hotel in Nuwara Eliya during the much-loved Naadagama Music Festival and were genuinely impressed. From the moment of booking, the teamâs service stood outâthey even offered to arrange a tuk-tuk pickup from Nanu Oya (which we didnât end up needing).
The hotel is new, the room was compact but spotless, and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed a tasty lunch and a buffet breakfastâsmall selection, but fresh and flavourful. What really made the difference was the staffâs willingness to go the extra mile, even popping into town to pick up a few items for us without any fuss.
On departure day, they were up before dawn to get us to the station for our 6.00 a.m. trainâpacking a lovely breakfast, making us coffee, and dropping us off on time. From booking to checkout, we felt genuinely cared for. We highly recommend this propertyâplease do visit and support it. Special thanks to Shafrahn and the team for a...
