Stay: 09/09 â 09/12/25
Overall, my experience has been mixed.
The room I was assigned had an unusual setup â a long, narrow layout with two small beds and two chairs. Since I booked for one person, this felt awkward. There was no proper closet, only a coat rack, and the bathroom didnât provide standard shower gel, just a bottle of hand soap.
I was finally able to meet the housekeeper in the hallway and attempted to ask for a body wash. On her cart, I noticed a five-gallon container of shampoo, and she tried to use it to refill a bottle labeled âbody wash.â I explained that I didnât just need a bottle with the word âbody washâ on it filled with shampoo â I needed an actual body wash. She had a hard time understanding and told me to follow her. She went into a room and came back with another body wash bottle filled with unknown content, which I still suspected was shampoo. Later that night when I used it, there was no foam whatsoever, which only confirmed my concern.
Parking was another frustration. Although the hotel advertises free parking, there are only about 10 spaces, which were full on my second night. I had to pay 205 SEK (a little over $20 USD) for overnight parking. While I was able to park on-site afterward, this limitation should be made clearer upfront. To make matters worse, on my last day I was informed that I had been parking on a private property completely unrelated to the hotel. This was upsetting for several reasons: I had already told a receptionist earlier where I parked, and she didnât say anything; I dislike unknowingly doing the wrong thing or inconveniencing others; and there was absolutely no indication that the lot wasnât part of the hotel. If youâre traveling with a car, the bottom line is: stay somewhere else.
On the positive side, the staff I interacted with were polite and respectful. My room was clean, the sheets were fresh and crisp, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety. The restaurant kitchen also stood out as being noticeably clean, which gave me confidence in the food preparation. The lounge, gym, and sauna facilities were modern and enjoyable, which added value to the stay.
That said, not every staff member was proactive in resolving problems. When I asked about parking, I was simply told nothing was available and left to figure it out. When I inquired about canceling my reservation, I was told to contact Booking.com directly, with no attempt to assist.
Overall, the hotel has good facilities, friendly staff, and clean rooms, but the misleading parking situation, awkward room layout, questionable toiletries, and lack of support when issues arose made the stay...
Read moreAmazing hotell, the prices are so good and cheap in comparison to the clean tidy modern rooms, the Ok gym, the very warm Sauna and the service that you get for what you pay!
The food is good and tasty but one would wish for a bit more variables and longer opening hours for the restaurant!
On the other side , a positive thing that the hotel restaurant bake their own pizzas after the restaurant closes until 1 am which provides you with much needed tasty pizza after a hangover or even a late working night!
I âve booked this hotel twice and the staff were amazing in both occasions! The hospitality you feel at this place is extraordinary! Today I came late to the hotel restaurant and only 3 types of Pizzas were available but the amazing staff helped me by asking the kitchen to create a turkey pizza (which wasnât on the menu) because I told them that I need some protein on the Pizza especially that I donât eat Pork! Truly this gesture made me write this review because the staff(Ella and Vedella) truly deserve a pay raise for their hospitality and...
Read moreThe worst thing a hotel can do is lie. This hotel lies about parking intentionally when they market this hotel to have "free parking". The clients come here expecting to find a spot for their car but there is basically none. The hotel has 10 parking spots (yes, I counted) and 1 invalid and 1 MC spot. At least half of the parking sports seemed to be used by personell and 5 of the 10 spots were up a hill where you don't even have space to turn the car so you have to reverse back. If you arrive later to the hotel, the streets were full too, so problematic. They really should not market this hotel as having parking. The room was new, clean and comfortable but very dark and hot. The breakfast was good but not enough to alleviate my irritation about the lies about parking. Would never stay again. I will post here 2 pictures which show ALL parking...
