India Dream — Restaurant in Huddinge kommun

WARNING. WARNING We were 24 pax . Group. Our agent booked dinner for us in this restaurant. We went to this restaurant. They gave us a tables abutting the wall two long tables and cramped. One side of the room fully dark though tables are there. One person was sitting in the dark. Only two staffs. When we went to take food the person from the dark came and sat down one of the table where all ladies hand bags were there. Then one of our friends asked him to move as the table is reserved for us. As if he doesn't know he again moved to the dark side and sat on there. He was not having food and staffs also not served any food. After finish of our dinner and saw one of our friends hand bag missing. CCTV camera there. We immediately complained to the staffs. He didn't even try to locate or search. The staffs behaviour was strange. When we asked for CCTV footage they said owner only has the code. We called the owner he is out of country. We searched ourselves in the hotel and found out a rear side door which was not locked. Then we called the Stockholm police and they arrived and they also searched and enquired. During enquiry owner's son came and he was not even bothered to come and enquired the victim but defend the staffs. He said people come and sit inside his restaurant without taking food and he cannot question them. Strange. He said CCTV is only for burglary after closing the restaurant. Strange. Now police is investigating. We lost 3000 euros, passport, cellphone, credit card and debit cards. This could not happen without the help of the restaurant staffs. This is planned theft. They targetted the group. When the pax going to take food they will steal their handbag. When question they will not help and say you may be missed else where or your friend taken or left it in Coach. This restaurant also in remote place and no other established nearby. This was happened in May 2025. Still police is trying to nab the culprit. The restaurant owner not helping the police but defending their staffs. We strongly suspect the staffs. The food also not good ,,, atmosphere, the way in which the behaviour of staffs no good. Initially we asked for hot water and for that he was so rude . These all shows they are all hand in glove with the robber. So be careful. It was well planned theft with support of restaurant staffs. Owner or owners son not helpful. The rear door which goes to dirty place. Why it was not locked a strange answer given by owners son. He was not even questioning the staffs who was sitting in the dark. So please avoid this restaurant as no good food and...

I have been here 3 times in the 2 years I moved a 5 minute walk from here. The first 2 times I was here, I was disappointed. 2 stars max. It’s been a year and a half since I was here last. I love Indian food and when I moved into the neighborhood, I was so excited to have an Indian restaurant a 5 minute walk from my house. I gave this restaurant a third chance. I ordered the Goa Chicken and asked for a little heat as it was (mild) on the menu. I was given a Vindaloo hot Goa Chicken that was nearly inedible. I ate a third with a ton of rice an garlic naan and took the rest home to mellow out with coconut milk. I can only assume the “chefs” in the kitchen are laughing at me as they clearly intended to blow out my palate. I don’t understand why this place has to be so bad! They clearly know flavors, but an hour before the end of service someone from the kitchen pushed a shopping cart of beer bottles through the restaurant for recycling! 45 minutes before the end of service, staff unmade tables even though guests had just arrived. Do better India Dream! I want to like you...

I ordered with Uber Eats so can't rate the service or the atmosphere, but the food was extremely disappointing. You know how you make your curry at home and it's...well, edible, but not even close to what you get at an Indian restaurant? That's exactly what I got from India Dream. The Dal soup was so salty I didn't even finish it despite a very small portion. As for the shrimp curry, the sauce lacked in every aspect, even its texture. Not aromatic enough, not oily enough (yes, Indian cuisine should be oily!), basically tasted like canned tomatoes blended with fresh ginger and some generic powdered curry spice. All in all, undoubtedly the worst Indian restaurant I've ever tried. And very expensive as for the quality...
