What a fabulous hotel. 5🌟 alone for the view. We were attending the Glitched festival in Jönkoping and this seemed to be a good option. We flew into Gothenburg and got a Flixbus to Jönkoping. The Flixbus stops a short distance from the hotel, a 4 minute walk approx. Check-in could be a self check-in but we opted to do it in-person. Very straightforward process really. Our room was an upgrade which we requested and paid extra for. It was a corner suite type room with a view out to the lake which is simply breathtaking. You could sit and look out at it all day. There was a separate toilet with a sliding door into a double sinked area with a walk-in shower and bathtub. It was a decent sized area but could have done with a make-up mirror. The toiletries were nice with the usual handsoap and hand cream and shower gel/ shampoo available. Other Swedish hotels I've stayed in had items such as a shower cap, bamboo toothbrushes etc. but not here. With the out of the world shower pressure and hot water, a shower cap would have been handy. The shower on its own also rated 5🌟. The bed was really comfortable . There was a TV in the living area and one in the sleeping area also. The room came with a kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge, wardrobe (5 hangers!!), hair dryer, couch, pouch, and some chairs. The overall appearance of the room was let down by an area of scuffed paintwork but that wasn't enough to take a star, in my opinion. Great atmosphere in the hotel, cool vibe with great decor in all areas, games such as shuffle board in reception etc. The restaurant, Nor, had great food and the staff couldn't have been more helpful really, especially when it came to my Coeliac son. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options. The GF section...

Prime Location: Nestled close to the train station and city center, this hotel offers unrivaled convenience.
Stunning Views: The hotel's design ensures guests on both sides are treated to panoramic views of the city and the water.
Fresh & Modern: Being a new establishment, the hotel emanates a fresh ambiance coupled with a modern, functional design.
Rooms with a View: Our accommodation on the 16th floor, especially room 1613, boasted exceptional vistas.
Top-notch Amenities: The room features two luxurious, separate beds, a generously sized smart-TV, and an in-room electric kettle.
Breakfast Extravaganza: Arguably one of the best breakfast spreads I've had in Sweden. Highlights include homemade meatballs, diverse hot foods, an array of smoothies, exotic fruits, an impressive bread selection, and a yogurt station.
Parking Facilities: The hotel offers access to a municipal parking garage right below. Although it's slightly expensive at 275 SEK, there's an alternative of free parking nearby on weekends.
Cons
Elevator Noise in Room 1613: Unfortunately, our room was situated next to the three elevators. This resulted in a persistent and annoying howling sound whenever they were in operation.
Bathroom Issues: Water Pressure: The bathroom's walk-in shower boasted a lovely design, but the water pressure was notably lacking. Limited Amenities: Shower amenities were restricted to just a two-in-one shampoo-body soap, with no conditioner in sight, a departure from the offerings at other Quality hotels in the Strawberry chain.
Conclusion: While there are a few areas that need attention, the Quality Hotel Match is still a premier choice for visitors. Its melding of location, luxury, and amenities ensures a...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in November. It is a very nice hotell but there where many small issues and one major one.||||Simply put it was just to hot in the room which had a negative impact on our sleep. We really tried to change the temp but the aircon didn't allow us to change it that much. If you like to sleep in 22-24 degrees Celsius well, then you won't have any problem.||||I just assumed that there would be a minibar in the room but there were none. No big issue but I missed it. I didn't miss the safe that wasn't there either. I never use the safe in any hotells myself but maybe you do.||||The rooms are not cleaned unless you ask for it and you need to ask for it every day the day before. This was a bit anoying.||||Another anoying thing was that we had to book the breakfast. Every day. The thing was that this reservation was never used and the feeling I got was that this was done just so the hotell could get my email and, hopefully, my consent to send commercialadds to me. I think it didn't serve any real purpose. The booking itself was never used so it felt really pointless.||||This is a new hotell and you have a very nice view from the room. We loved that! The hotell is in the center of Jönköping which is nice too. It shouldn't really be much of a problem to stay there but strangely enough it was. The main thing was that we just didn't get any good nights of sleep and really, that's sort of the whole point staying...
