Hotell Nautic — Hotel in Kungälvs kommun

We arrived late in the evening and found our room key on the reception table with our name on against it - nice touch. We did however need to be Sherlock holmes to find the rooms - as one wrong turn you are in the restaurant and then another stair case you are on the wrong side. We got there however. Although I hope we didnt disturb the whole hotel as we movd around late at night with luggage! ||There is no car parking on Marstrand - for first time visitors, you have to park on the mainland - theres also 2 types of car park 1 day and 2 day - both cost the same except the 1 day is closer to the ferry and yo can by credit card. this would have been really useful information the hotel could provide upon asking - instead they just replied there is no parking...||||Okay so the location is brilliant but the old hotel is exactly that and not just a quaint hotel that you would expect. the walls are paper thin, so you can hear people snoring next to you and people getting out of bed at crack o dawn in the morning. not very relaxing. ||The room has a kettle/coffee making set, except you have to find a plug to put it into, we had to pull the plug out of the TV and rest the kettle on the window sill. go figure - oh and they give you one sachet of nescafe and one sachet of decaff - so we had to make do with only one coffee between us, the next day - they replaced the nescafe sachet with another decaf one - nice attention .....||Hey the water is hot and the antiquated shower works - although I would recommend a dip in the sea as its more fun! ||Its a very sociable hotel - as in you can hear all that is going on in the street. our friends heard a conversation from us as we were walking up the street. The dumpster cart is very efficient, apart fro the fact you dont want to jump out of bed in alarm as it comes round at 07.15 in the morning..||||I think that it was overly expensive and didnt deliver...

Rummen är små och charmiga. Det fanns en liten tv på väggen i rummen i IPad-storlek. Badrummen är mycket små, man duschar över handfatet.||||Frukosten var en kartong som innehöll en bulle, en liten yoghurt, en liten mugg juice, en liten skiva vattenmelon och en minicroissant. Detta är inte acceptabelt. Inte när man har betalat 5600kr för en natt för 2 små dubbelrum.||||Anledningen som gavs efteråt var på pga av covid-restriktioner. Hotellet använde inte sig av tidsbokning för frukosttider utan alla kan komma samtidigt. Jag påpekade att deras frukostrum inte kan hantera alla samtidigt, även med deras kartong till frukost. Speciellt inte vid regn då ingen kommer att sitta ute. Vad ska gästerna då göra, ta deras box och äta på deras rum? Kaffe serverades också i termos vid ingång/utgång gjorde det omöjligt att följa några restriktioner då man krockar kontinuerligt med gäster som ska in eller ut ur frukostrummet. Detta var enligt hotellet, upp till var och en att ta kaffe då. Att då inte kunna servera en frukost med tidsbokning är bara en ursäkt för slippa ha frukost och istället slänga till gäster en liten kartong istället.||||Vidare fick jag nästan en hjärtattack över att se i tonåringarnas dusch/badrum ligger 220V sladd dragen längs duschgolvet från ett litet element. Det var inte fackmannamässigt gjort. Hade det blivit stående vatten efter t ex en lång dusch hade det medfört livsfara. Damen i receptionen, som för övrigt var den enda som talade svenska på hotellet, garanterade att installationen inte användes längre. Jag påtalade att detta bör tas bort oavsett, men svaret var att det är ”arbetsamt” att göra detta...||||Denna dam som representerade hotellet äger inte förmågan att ta emot ett klagomål eller hantera en missnöjd kund. Hon visade heller inget intresse överhuvudtaget att vilja kompensera en missnöjd kund. ||||Vår resa tog oss hela västkusten från norr till söder och detta var det enda hotellet som inte tillämpade tidsbokad frukost. Jag reser självt runt i jobbet och har normalt 50-100 hotellnätter/år. Att fortfarande ha frukostbox jämfört med i början av pandemin, råkar jag normalt inte...

The hotel and location is excellent. Room was very clean. Shower brilliant! Problem was, we were on motorbikes, so ALL or luggage had to be carried over by ferry - my fault really...||But... The biggest problem was food... Monday night out of season and the only place we found to eat was the Grand Hotel. Yes, the exchange rate is poor but £100 for (most excellent) fish, chips and one beer each?! Tuesday night and we took the ferry over to another hotel.||All that was forgiven for the morning rush hour - one old lady on a squeaky bicycle. ||Would easily get a 4 if in season. Even a 4 out of season, if we were...
