Hotel itself is in a great location near nature with very pretty views of the water. We booked last minute hoping for a comfortable stay. However the fittings were shockingly poor quality for such a highly rated hotel. The bed frame and tables were wobbly, the sink was mounted at an angle, the bottom part of the sink was not attached to the floor, which I only noticed because the sink was not draining properly. For some reason the drain for the shower was under the glass partition, so the floor near the sink gets wet. The build quality of the room is overall poorly done and the floor is already squeaky. Seems like it was renovated not long ago so on the plus side it was relatively clean.
Some building works were going on nearby. Fortunately it was the weekend and the noise wasn’t too loud. The room was fairly small and not very soundproof, so we were woken up by doors slamming in the hallway. Very loud footsteps from the room above.
The hotel we stayed in was in a separate building to reception. There was no room service and the mini bar was empty. You are asked to go to reception to get mini bar items. It’s basically a 3 star hotel at best, at least for the separate hotel building as some other reviews mentioned room service.
Another odd feature is the cleaner leaves the bin bag roll inside the bin. There was no space, especially in the bathroom bin, so I had to remove the roll first and refit the bag…
On check out day, the cleaner was already knocking a bit after 10am to clean the room. We had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Checkout is at 11am. First time this has ever happened in any hotel I’ve stayed in.

Read moreStayed in room 258. From the reception, we had to take two different elevators to get to our room. The breakfast was served in a separate building. This may not be the best place for people with disabilities/strollers.
Room: Spacious room. Ok bed. It was a bit cold in the room even though we had the temperature on max. Nice with a balcony. There was some view over the waters, but a lot of trees were in the way. The bathroom had heated floor which was nice. There was some tiny bugs in the bathroom. Byredo shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. Noisy in the morning (9-11am) due to lawn mowers.
Hotel: According to the description on their home page, they had sauna and a small pier for swimming. The problem is that, there are many big boats passing by - which stirs up the water, which is not great for swimming. They had lounge/bar at the reception instead of having minibar in the room. Not much on the menu.
Service: The cleaning staff was very friendly and greeted every time passing by. Rest of the staff - not that friendly. Our receptionist and a lady at the breakfast had nonchalant attitude.
Location: Very accessible from Stockholm City, using SL Pendelbåt from Nybroplan. A good place if you want to enjoy nature, but also want various cafés/restaurants/stores. Not a good place if you want to enjoy the nature and calm surroundings.

While the hotel itself is clean and comfortable, the service and management are far from professional.||||The main issue arose with their so-called “free” airport transfer. A day before check-out, I received a WhatsApp message offering the taxi service. I personally went to reception to confirm, and they assured me it was indeed offered. Based on that confirmation, I booked the taxi for my departure day. However, upon arrival at the airport, I was charged 432 SEK.||||When I immediately contacted the hotel, their response was shockingly rude. They completely denied ever offering anything, claimed I never asked (despite my in-person confirmation), and even stated they have a fixed rate of 400 SEK—which I was never informed about and, in fact, ended up paying more than.||||I requested a refund, but instead, they offered a 50% discount, which is completely unacceptable. In reality, they still profited from their misleading offer. To make matters worse, the manager later publicly responded to my complaint, implying that I had already been compensated and was still complaining—when in fact, their “compensation” was nothing more than another attempt to make money off me.||||This experience showed a total lack of honesty and customer care.
