FOOD: Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani (Lamb) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A warm casserole of biriyani rice cooked with pieces of lamb. There is one grilled lamb cutlet and several chunky lamb pieces. The rice lightly soaks up the meat and curry juices. Each mouthful of rice with meat brings a savoury burst of curry, rice and lamb.

Lamm Korachi Balti ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soft, juicy lamb in a savoury sauce. Accompanied by white rice.

Papadums ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thin dough cracker served with chutney.

Mango Lassi ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mango flavoured, cold yogurt drink in a tall glass.

Salmon Pathori ⭐⭐⭐ 3 pieces of salmon cutlets individually wrapped in banana leaf and grilled. Fish is fresh but bland. The curry and pineapple sauces lift the taste somewhat but I won't order this again.

Garlic King Prawn Chutney Wala ⭐⭐ Generous number of king prawns served with a green curry dip and mango chutney. The prawns were not well grilled and tasted cold and raw on the inside. Also the meat was tough. Accompanying saffron rice is ok. Will not be ordering again.

AMBIANCE: Stylishly decorated restaurant....

The dark aesthetic and modest decor of this restaurant are quite beautiful, it makes the place look appealing from the outside. The bathrooms are also clean and very nicely put together. Also, don't be fooled by the guest WiFi, as they refuse to give you the password and instead, suggested us to use the mall WiFi (Why have a guest WiFi if you don't let customers connect?).

Nonetheless, the appetizers came and were quite delicious. The samosas were hot and fresh, and the papadum was incredibly crispy (the baby liked it a lot). When the main dishes came in, the table quickly got overcrowded because everything came on their own extravagant plates and took up unnecessary amounts of space. I particularly enjoyed the lamb chops --- they were perfectly seasoned and were tender. I did find the chicken tikka masala a bit sweet for my taste, but the chicken itself was juicy and tasty.

Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant, and it is definitely a solid option if you're ever craving Indian food and find...

Extremely rude and unfriendly woman at the counter who claims to be the owner! Our food arrived cold, and when we complained she said that we were lying and that the plate was hot. When we insisted it wasn't hot enough, she came back with a heated plate, threw it on the table and left. When we confronted her about her unfriendly manner, she said racist comments to us which completely shocked us, and said that it didn't matter that we were unhappy because she had "many other customers". When the other workers tried to help, she screamed at them in front of the whole restaurant, was condescending, and shouted at them to go inside. I have never been through such an experience at a restaurant! This woman should not deal with other human beings!! Will never return to this...
