Perfect campsite for two nights whilst exploring Interlaken and the surrounding area. Location: Idyllic. Under an hour by car/ train to Grindelwald and Oeschinesee lake. Harder Kulm close by. Right on the Brienzersee lake (see photo). Can't complain at all. Rooms: Stayed in a glamping pod, which was fine for two adults. Chairs/ table provided, as well as a parasol. Bathroom/ toilets opposite the pods which was handy, plus shower was good. Can sleep three with a pullout single bed. Plug sockets (EU/CHF sockets). Amenities: SUP hire for only 30CHF (1 hour) which was great. Had pizza/ garlic bread/ fries at the campsite for dinner, we were able to get takeout to eat by the pod. Communal fridge. Access to the local pool for free. Bike hire (we didn't use). Small shop on site. Food: Only ate at the onsite restaurant once (takeaway as mentioned above) but reasonably priced and very tasty. Communal BBQ/ opportunity to rent a BBQ from them. Friendly staff too! Other: Roughly 25 minutes walk to the train station, car park at the train station too (5CHF for up to 5 hours or so). 20 Euro/ CHF cash deposit for pod key. Suited our needs for a reasonable price and would stay here again 😀

The location is fabulous. Furthest you'll walk to Lake Brienze is 5 min if you want to swim or SUP or Kayak. Good restaurant and beers, food hot and served in good time. Good pot wash and clean. Good recycling Sanitary block clean, showers good. Free bus into Interlaken with visitors pass, bus stop 10 mins from Bonigen See or Lutschinenbrucke, (Bonigen See is better) but can get busy. The only negatives are the noise from other guest slamming car or campervan doors at all hours, Premium pitches next to Lake are not serviced, Usual euro no privacy style pitch just painted lines on road. Our pitch (43) had the EH at the rear for 10 pitches, wires all over, didn't like that. The public gravel path at the rear is well used by lots of people, bicycle runners, and is surprisingly loud, although this has nothing to do with TCS. Would stay again though.

Update 23-9-2020 First I do appreciate the response from the owner and the time they took to reply. I hope they will act on the feedback for future visitors. What I do find a bit offending is the fact there is suddenly another rate available. It's less then half the price we paid and we only stayed one night as well. Reactie van de eigenaar 5 uur geleden Dear Dik Heid, Thank you for staying with us and for giving us your honest opinion. We value every guest's feedback and try to make the best of it. Unfortunately, your experience at our camping ground didn't meet your expectations. We would like to apologize for the unfriendly welcome. This certainly doesn't reflect our standards, and your feedback will be discussed internally. We will also take care of the issue with the Internet connection. As you say, free WiFi is included in the pitch price. Many of our guests, especially families, appreciate having an enclosure with domestic animals, a playground, and a swimming pool on-site. There are many other activities available in the region, such as hiking and cycling, and our staff is glad to provide more information upon request. We hope to be able to welcome you back. Perhaps, you may be interested in our Stop & Go offer that only costs 25 CHF for two people per night. Kind regards, Team TCS Camping Bönigen - Interlaken

The best way to start the review is by saying we will be booking for 2 weeks next year, maybe 3! |As a family of 4 with 2 girls aged 6&4 we weren't really sure how it would work out but we decided to jump in and see. ||This campsite is like a huge kids playground. It seems that after dinner each night the road in the campsite becomes a racetrack for all ages, doing laps on bikes in groups of all nationalities until the sun goes down. our little one didn't have a bike - so she ran round - much to the amusement of other on lookers. |I'm sure there are campsites in the region that are meant for tranquility and calm, but this isn't one of them. It's for families and people wanting to get out onto the lake and on bikes. ||Although it is exceptionally busy from 6pm to sundown, everyone knew that from 10pm it was quiet time and the site come back to life again about 9am. ||I'd recommend getting up before 7am and taking tea/coffee by the lake and watch as the sun comes up round the mountain. ||Most people we spoke to had only booked a few nights on the site, almost as a quick stop through and they all said they didn't realise how much was in the area and wished they had booked longer on this site. |"The Beach" is a venue next door with 3 pools, 1 for really little ones another about 3ft deep - which our girls lived in and then a full size/depth pool, with a dedicate lane for those that actually want to swim. There is also a section of the lake marked for the Beach guests with inflatables and a pontoon to jump from. The venue is free to enter for all guests of the campsite, so it's just an extension of the site really, just make sure you get your cards sorted at camping reception. ||The facilities at the campsite were all in great condition and well maintained all week. ||There is also 2 small pools here and a small playground for the kids. | |The food at the campsite and the beach were of good quality and reasonably priced. 70CHF for 3 burgers, a kids pizza, 4 drinks and 2 ice lollies for the girls at...

We have just left after 4 incredible days. The campsite was absolutely spot on. We had pitch 22 which had a little gap in the bushes to see the lake so was gorgeous eating breakfast with that view.|The facilities were amazing and very clean. Only 4 ladies showers but I never had to wait long at all.|Washing up and cooking facilities were brilliant. |There was a lovely communal BBq area, we didn’t use it but it looked so equipped with wood etc.|You can hire paddle boards for the lake by a lovely lady. We paddled over to the other side of the lake and found a waterfall below the church it was small but lush |All the staff couldn’t help enough so friendly and welcoming. We had trouble with our van and they really helped.|Just down the path is a beach club which is free to the campsite so worth a visit if you have kids|Swimming pool, lake activities. Food and drink is reasonably priced also as we ate dinner for the last night to saves washing up ! |Lots of to do around and about but be prepared to pay but we all know Switzerland is expensive but so worth it |We visited the village of Grindelwald which was stunning and we hit the mountain and went on the toboggan. We then drove to Glacier canyon which is a must see.|We will definitely be back thank you TCS Switzerland has our hearts |Family of 4...
