Stay Kooook is such a great concept! Highly recommended for solo or family travellers who want just a place to stay and do not need additional service, not even a hotel breakfast buffet, and that's just who we are. We believe this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in as a family.||From a user experience perspective, they have the best-designed hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. A double bed, two bunk beds for kids, a kitchen, a large table for four, a shower, and a toilet are all fitted into a modestly sized room. Not an inch is being wasted. I particularly appreciate the room's layout. The kids' bunk beds are separated from the main 'living area' where the table, the double bed and the kitchen are located. They even installed a curtain to seal off the entrance to the kids' area. The kids love it because they feel like they have their own little room, while the adults also appreciate it because they can enjoy some personal time after the kids are asleep in the evening. Everything is of excellent quality and thoughtfully designed to meet users' needs. And all of these are possible within the family room, which is big but not huge, and without being the price of a suite in a traditional hotel.||The self-help check-in through the app was surprisingly simple. We just arrived and pressed a few buttons, and the main door just opened. It was the same for our room and even for the car park. The concept was very futuristic, but the technology proved to be feasible today; it was genuinely amazing.||The benefits are obvious. For a family of 4, their family room is much cheaper than booking two rooms or a suite in traditional hotels, while offering arguably a better experience (we all stayed in one room and didn't need to separate into two rooms, for example). We checked in late at night (after 10 pm) without any hassle. As with everything in life, there are some downsides, which include the fact that there's no staff on-site to assist you outside of regular working hours, only a hotline to a remote staff. However, if you are experienced solo or family travellers who enjoy this type of travel, then this is one of the best hotels,...

Read moreWhat an amazing hotel! I never thought I get such excellent value, so thank you! Im still here on my last day having breakfast in the nature room where upon entree a sound recording of birds play.... This hotel is so well thought out in its design theres even a laundry room for you to use with detergent..on the house apparently! My single use studio has a library style partition btwn the kitchenette and the bed area...so in seconds you can extend towards the kitchenette and you have an enormous almost king size bed, so ok- you wont be able to get into the kitchenette but you can still access the fridge which conveniently faces out for access at all times! Lots of well thought out storage options.
The bathroom is really big, big shower with shampoo/body wash- sadly no conditioner but other wise hairdryer and hand soap, huge mirror with lighting for make up, person shave mirror..towels.
Kitchen has lots of storage, pots cutlery, literally everything to cook, a dishwasher, crockery, a Lor coffee pod machine, kettle, microwave/oven, stove with extractor hood and x2 induction style hobs.
There is a public area where breakfast items are provided in the mornings, jam, nutella, honey, butter, but u bring your own bread or cereal, non dairy milk options, there is usually some type of fruit available....theres an aldi 10 min walk away for cheaper breakast items or a migros and coop outside....the coffee machine and brita tap (still or sparkling) is avail to use all the time.
Outside there is a wrap around balcony with seating and a table where i guess you can smoke if you did want to. From here you can see the water jet fountain and the mountains on either side. Really nice!
Getting around was easy, the hotel provided a travel card through the tourism board, which covered many modes of travel, the tram stops right outside i was in the old town area in no time, another tram goes to CERN. I walked to the UN building and Red X museum.
This hotel is inspiring, in a class of its own an amazing use of all space yet not cluttered, i feel thought has gone into every aspect of this hotels design.
I throughly...
