Restaurant Trigal — Restaurant in Geneva

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Geneva. The food has always been just okay, but the service is consistently awful. Unfortunately, I’ve been there more than three times, and each time was disappointing but last week was the worst.

I stopped by to have a cappuccino, which turned out to be terrible. I told the waitress I didn’t like it and left it almost untouched I had only taken one sip. When I went to pay, the bill was 5 CHF. I tried to pay by card, but she refused and said they only accept card payments for orders over 10 CHF. I didn’t have any cash on me at the time, and instead of handling it politely, she became visibly angry.

I explained that the cappuccino wasn’t even drinkable and that I’d go across the street to withdraw cash. She insisted I leave something behind with her as a guarantee, which I found unacceptable. I wasn’t going to hand over any of my belongings, especially considering the poor quality of the drink.

She then told me that if I wanted to pay by card, I’d need to order something else to reach the 10 CHF minimum even though the original item I received was unsatisfactory. I suggested they put up a clear sign stating their payment policy, but instead of listening, she got even more upset and told me to leave, saying they didn’t need my money.

I ended up walking out frustrated, unwelcome, and still thirsty. I definitely won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this...

J’ai eu le plaisir de dîner dans ce restaurant, et ce fut un moment inoubliable du début à la fin. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande chaleur par une équipe souriante et attentionnée, ce qui a immédiatement mis en valeur l’ambiance conviviale et raffinée du lieu.

Côté cuisine, un véritable festival de saveurs ! Les plats étaient préparés avec des ingrédients d’une grande fraîcheur, magnifiés par un savoir-faire remarquable. Chaque bouchée était un pur régal, équilibrant parfaitement textures et arômes. Mention spéciale aux gambas, sublimement préparées, qui ont été le clou du repas !

Le service était irréprochable : rapide, efficace et toujours avec le sourire. L’équipe veille à chaque détail pour offrir une expérience parfaite. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, et ce restaurant mérite amplement d’être découvert et redécouvert.

Un immense merci au chef de cuisine Paulo, dont le talent se ressent dans chaque assiette. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe !

Had a delicious pizza there today which a colleague which got the beef. Pizza was fantastic, I picked the Gorgonzola one which had a delicious dough and great dose of ingredients. I really recommend!
