O Bom Gosto — Restaurant in Geneva

If you come from Portugal then you will be very well received and there is a warm camaraderie uniting people from the Portuguese community. If however you are not part of this community the boss in particular is will not be at all friendly. I live next door and have been a client there at least 50 times and he never greeted or even smiled in our direction despite us spending quite a lot of money and being polite and open to conversation. The produce are rather greasy (but to be fair many Portuguese pastries are) and in my opinion the quality is not top notch. It is a place where you can get the basics without refinement. Just discovered this gem. Awesome place for studying and writing! big enough to have your quiet corner. You can sit inside or outside as you wish! The drinks and food are quite cheap for Geneva standards. Staff are super nice. Chairs are comfy. Bathroom is renovated and is super clean. It's not located in a busy street. so an awesome place...

Very pleasant and relaxed patisserie serving delicious Portuguese cakes and bread. The lady serving was patient, friendly and helpful. We eventually took the Brasilian pastel de natas which were good, along with this we enjoyed coffee and drinks. Sitting outside all was consumed in the relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to...
