To whom ever responded to my previous post. Please do not act like we brought an entire family tree into a room. I booked a room with 2 double beds, I asked for a crib which no matter what hotel I have been to in the last twenty years has been complementary. We showed up near midnight slept, woke up the next day we’re out all day and came back near midnight before checking out on time. The room I booked and was previously charged to my husbands account was not only the same price for 1 to 2 people it was $50 a night cheaper and I ended up paying way more than the original charge that went to his account. I had to rebook almost 4 times for the reservation went through. If there was a glitch on your end, that’s not my issue to then compensate. I should have taken that as sign to book elsewhere. For the front desk to sit there and tell me how many towels I asked for, and the crib was a “gift” was ridiculous. If I am 1 guest and I request 5-7 towels, that’s all a a part of the service. We asked for a fridge, we were told the ones in the room are for show only. So yes my daughters milk spoiled. We asked for water to make tea it never arrived. Your short comings were far more than irritating. I also tried to explain this to the front desk when I arrived, you literally had a kind hearted soul but he spoke 0 English and kept saying “ok ok” and laughing. Again the rate was exactly the same...
Read moreI don't know about the hotel but their restaurant in the hotel made sick like full groep of people one day ago. From simple sandwiches. My husband can not take his head up. His colleagues are sick as well. One man from groep almost finished in hospital today, and they still clame it is not their fault. If the only one meal in day poison groep of people that eat at your place, together, and that was the ONLY one place they eat together. And you think it is not your failure? Wow. I would think about how and what people in the kitchen are doing. One of the colleges called them to say this. They just offered a free meal...sorry no meal from this place ever again. Free meal after food poisoning. Zero to your management. Bad service, bad kitchen, and bad handling in this situation. Fail fail fail. Do you want to pay a 150e ticket my husband paid to stay one more day in Switzerland because you make him sick? Ofc not... Fail...
Read moreThe location is nice and quiet, along a small river and a short stroll from the Rhine and the German border. Its about 20 minutes from Zurich airport, though can be up to an hour at peak traffic times apparently. The rooms were reasonably large, stylish and well furnished. Beds were comfortable though the pillows were a bit flat. Bathroom is spacious and very modern. I didnt use the other hotel facilities, but the breakfast was great. A spread of good cheeses and meats, breads, pastries, some hot food like bacon and eggs, locally sourced honeys, jams and iced teas, a selection of nespresso coffees, yoghurts, and more. All of it was delicious. The service of the reception desk and restaurant staff was excellent. Very friendly and they really strived to help. I stayed for free because of a missed flight connection, so i cant comment on the...
