BEWARE; I feel completely scammed. Was lied to about by admissions what the program was. Was lied to about the charges. They also kept huge amounts of my money without explanation or warning. Finance department does not answer emails but is extremely aggressive about charging you. They are rude and unhelpful too. Clearly a corrupt institution as no breakdown of fees is provided (other than a rudimentary, basic brochure) and no willingness to go into how the huge amounts of money we give the school is spent. When I mentioned that "fishy" things were going on in the finance department, was scolded by finance. Very few teachers speak english, do NOT expect a properly funcioning "English section". Teachers also brag about their "fail" rate of students; the more students fail, the prouder they feel of their teaching... Professors take a long time to answer any questions and demonstrate very little interest in what they teach. If you are 100% convinced that you want a career in hospitality and are sure you are willing to spend the enormous fees (keeping in mind you will not be given a breakdown) this school may be right for you. If you have any reservations about studying here, BEWARE AND THINK ABOUT IT CAREFULLY. Lots of money goes unaccounted for here. No one is helpful (beyond a few minor exceptions). The food, however, is quite good.
Edit: Have tried contacting staff many times to try fix problems, it is nearly impossible to get answers from staff though they are extremely aggressive in collecting money. Zero sense of "hospitality" in this...
Read moreGreat school, recently graduated from there. Beautiful campus (the one in Lausanne, as they are expanding). Be prepared to meet some very motivated, intelligent people and the opposite of those people too. Pro tip: figure out your job, or at least start the majority of the work for the job search, before the last semester. Also make sure to meet with a current student, OFF of campus and ask them what it's like on campus. If they just say that it's great, then find another student to talk to. FYI: some of the reviewers for the school were/are not students, i.e. the...
Read moreI am grateful for the education and community gained by attending EHL in Lausanne. It was something of quality and has had a big influence in my entrepreneurial career as a hospitality professional focussing on trade, restaurants, and hotels. I would say my friendships from this experience would also agree. My wife, kid, and friends also appreciate that I can cook and feed them well. It's a fulfilling journey everyone around...
