I was there in the summer of 2016. I was very disappointed of many things, but mainly by the extremely rough host. He called us stupid (I think this was the only word in English that he knew) because we couldn't figure out how to use the drying machine, for which you have to pay as well. The man who was in charge was most of the time drunk with his drunk friends. They were smoking all around and being noisy until the early hours. The garbage in the bins was there for too long, the bins were overfilled and the smell wasn't any nice. There was no warm water at all in the shower. You have to pay for the laundry. Do your best to skip this camping which also was the most expensive from the whole TMB for us. And also the location wasn't any nice because the camping was located exactly next by the road. Cars were passing 5 meters away...

This was the most expensive camping we had on the TMB. For 48 € per night (2 adults and 1 tent, or 24 € for a solo hiker with a tent), you get access to quite small campsite, the toilets and showers were basic but clean. Overall i didn't quite catch why all this pricey price for some basic camping experience.

The campsite is located right next to the road, so you constantly hear cars passing by. There’s no nice view, no good facilities to justify such a high price.

Since wild camping is forbidden in Switzerland, there’s really no other option. I highly recommend waking up early and going straight from La Fouly to Trient to skip this expensive place.

PS: I know, thats not their fault, but during the night we heard some strange animal? bird? scream, and it was little bit creepy and...

Stayed here last week on the TMB. From the reviews I was expecting a lot worse. Yes the toilets/showers need updating, but I found them clean and there are enough cubicles for everyone. It's expensive for what it is, obviously, but it's conveniently located with a grocery store about 10 mins walk away. WiFi reception is poor and drops out. Terraces are nice though and mostly flat. Also if you arrive while reception is closed you can just pitch up and pay later. Just go in knowing the cost (40 CHF for two adults and tent) and that it's basic and you'll be fine.

Great location a short walk from the lake and literally on the TMB route. 3 different tiered areas all nice and flat. Showers, toilets and washing facilities were all good. There are a couple of covered areas with a kettle and microwave. Lots of space for phone charging as well. You can buy beer, drink and some snacks from the small shop. Added bonus of an outdoor table tennis table as well. So all in all a good campsite that ticks all the basics.

On a first view it is pretty and cozy with terraces for tents...the amenities are quite good, the shower is included in price and provides warm water. You can do your laundry also. Common areas include microwave and electric kettle, so you can spare some gas/alcohol. Wifi is weak, the place for tents is not very vast, so you end up very close to other tents. Price is quite high. The town is close and you can visit shops and lake.
