Boulangerie - Tea-Room - Gentiana — Restaurant in Orsières

We stayed here when hiking the tour du mont blanc. We were going to camp with our tent at champex lac, however the weather was horrible that night so we started looking for a sleeping arrangement very last minute... We were welcomed with open arms at Gentiana! The hostess even brought us some cake when we arrived. She really made our night after we were bummed out by the bad weather. Everything was very clean, a comfy sitting area, great beds, a nice bathroom. We had a great night which gave us new found energy for the rest of our hiking trip. Definitely...

We were through hiking and our hotel didn’t open till 16:00 so we came here to spend our money.

The staff was very helpful to us two Americans. We had some Penne Bolognese and it was great. They were very attentive as well. We split our meal, which I think got lost in translation, so I went and got a second fork and the woman came out with a second plate apologizing. The beer was typical for this area, so...
