7132 Glenner Hotel — Hotel in Vals

The hotel was in great condition as it’s recently renovated. Our room was spotless, and there are plenty of space for our clothes and necessities. It’s located in the middle of the old town just across the Volg super market, so we could get our snacks easily. Our hotel deal was including breakfast and daily Therme entry which was excellent. Breakfast was well selected spread of fresh local foods, and served by very friendly staffs. The check-in from 4pm, but we could check-in to 7132 Therme to enjoy the nice thermal spa. Parking was also very convenient. Overall the service (checkin/checkout/breakfast/cleaning/Therme entry) was smooth and welcoming. The only downside was that there’s no lift in the building, and we needed to carry our luggages by ourselves. We’ll definitely come back in future as long as our knees are in good...

We booked a “Doppelzimmer” room and got a “Grandlit” room, which is totally different and which is a (small) downgrade, if you look at the hotel’s website. When we showed our surprise at checkin, we were told that the photos on the website are not contractual (so, why put them on their website?). We also requested a quiet room, and got one right above the restaurant, which is also on the main street. Luckily, the restaurant was closed on that time, but, if you think this street, in such a town, is quiet, don’t forget there are some deliveries to the grocery store on the other side of the street, and also that Vals is not free of early garbage trucks. Altogether, this hotel is not cheap for what you get (as most in Vals), but you get a free entry to the baths and, at the end, that makes it a good value. The...

…war bei unserem Hotelaufenthalt (Nacht vom Fr. auf Sa.) nicht gegeben; darauf wurden wir bereits beim Check-In dezent mittels plastifizierter Mitteilung hingewiesen (Mitteilung an der Reception, im Flur sowie im Zimmer), dass in der Nacht mit Musik (Lärm) zu rechnen sei.||Nach Anfrage an der Reception wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es sich hierbei um eine Ausnahme handelt und die Party um 02:00 (nachts!) fertig sei.||Leider handelt es sich bei diesen Partys in der Gada Bar nicht um Ausnahmefälle, wie wir entsprechenden Rezensionen auf einem allseits bekannten Bewertungsportal entnehmen konnten.||Zudem der Aufwand für plastifizierte Mitteilungen für eine einmalige Gelegenheit? Des Aufwands des Guten zuviel..||An Nachtruhe war also nicht zu denken: lärmende Kinder im Treppenhaus, zuschlagende Türen, wummernde Bässe von ca. 23:00 bis 02:00, betrunkene, johlende Gäste, die das Etablissement nach Partyende verlassen haben.||Dementsprechend waren wir morgens gut gelaunt, fit & ausgeschlafen Ironie off||Ueber die nächtliche Misere hinweg haben das reichhaltige Frühstück als auch die freundliche Bedienung unsere miese Laune etwas aufgehellt.||Beim Check-Out sprachen wir die nächtliche Situation an, mit der Bitte, solche Veranstaltungen zukünftig auf der Website des Hotels anzukündigen (wenn wir von der Situation|| per Website informiert gewesen wären, hätten wir uns bestimmt für ein anderes Hotel entschieden), worauf die Antwort kam, dass diese Info auf der Website|| ersichtlich sei (welches leider bei nachträglichem Besuch der Website nicht der Fall war), sowie dass solche Veranstaltungen eher am Wochendende stattfänden.||||Fazit: wer Partytime und Halligalli liebt, kommt im Glenn’s auf seine volle Kosten; wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, dem sei eher abgeraten, im Glenn’s zu...
