I would like to share my experience of visiting this truly unique and incomparable hotel - in the best possible sense of the word. It is an unforgettable, secluded retreat from the pressures and demands of everyday life, perfectly harmonizing with nature. Not in a wild or rustic way, but with an unmistakable sense of elegance.||||If you are an aesthete and a connoisseur of beauty, someone who appreciates the exclusive and the exceptional, then I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this remarkable place. I was left with the most delightful impressions from everything I had the pleasure to experience during my stay. From the exquisite gourmet restaurants, the panoramic breakfast views, the world-class Spa with its thermal waters, to the cloud like comfort of the pristine white bed in my room. ||After such a thoughtfully curated experience, one cannot help but drift into a deep and restful sleep, exactly what is needed to conclude the day on a perfect note.||||I had the privilege of staying in a room designed by the esteemed architect "Tadao Ando", and this was far more than just accommodation. It was an immersion into something greater, something timeless. A living testament to a brilliant vision, thoughtfully brought to life. Being in this space made me feel like a part of that story. Every detail of the interior serves as a quiet reminder of this and inspires one to reach for something more.||||I must also highlight the courteous and highly professional staff who seemed to anticipate my every need, often before I even voiced it. They are the ones who create this unique atmosphere, and from the first moment until the last, it was an absolute pleasure to be surrounded by such dedicated individuals. Whatever your expectations or requirements may be, rest assured they will be met promptly, seamlessly, and always with a smile. This place is, after all, all about tranquility and understated style, and they deliver this in the most effortless, professional and graceful manner. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Mr. Jäger - the Front Office Manager, who personally ensured the highest level of service during my stay. I truly value a bespoke, tailored approach, and I received it here in every possible...
Read moreThe price does not correspond to the quality anymore. The room was very small and very unpractical. It had a balcony but no chairs were on the balcony. The walls are extremly thin, you can hear everything what is happening in the rooms next doors. The prices are extreme: 20 CHF for an Aperol Spritz is really over the top! Staff is friendly but they run around in all directions and one can feel that the coordination is missing. Breakfast is really an organisational disaster: they bring you a complete plate af cheeses and meat cuts which is first of all way too much and second of all not appropriate if one is vegan or vegetarian. (They don't ask, they bring it) As nobody can eat all of this, they throw away lots of food. They also still write down on a tiny piece of paper what one wants to drink, run to the kitchen with it and back: so lots of time goes to waste just by running around (a digital system for taking orders would be great: sparing lots of time and staff and avoiding all the hectic of the numberous people that are working during breakfast time) . After the order has been taken, count 10 to 15 minutes before any drinks arrive at the table. No specific waiter is dedicated to the area, everybody runs all over the place making breakfast extra stressfull for everybody. The spa area is a great place and the nightbathing is also wonderful. They do not have a bar so during a spa day you have to get fully dressed again to go to the hotel for a drink or lunch. It would be good if they had like a small bar or a possibility to order something like in other spas like Bad Ragaz, Sole Uno, Aquabasilea,.... Conclusion: overpriced and some organisational issues..... The tote bag upon departure with the fresh bread and local water is...
Read morewell well well, I was really looking forward tontrying one of the "best wellness hotel's in Switzerland" And was hoping for a 10/10 experience. (it mostly was good) however I have noticed a few flaws which makes me go from a 10/10 down to a 7.2/10 shower design is amazing visually however, ergonomics wasn't thought through... when you shower EVERYTHING gets wet except you... sink, towels, make-up bag, toilet floor. blinds that keep the light out for some well deserved after spa shut eye work rather bad.... they have a 5cm slot on both sides which FULLY blinds only the space where your head is on the bed at 6am when the sun comes up... -room had no tv (which is okay) however shen checking in they told us we could order one to our room at any time, so the gen X's we are we did. the tv wasn't so gen X more like baby boomer, cables everywhere and was smaller than my ipad... therefore ruined the aesthetic of the room and we also couldn't enjoy tv 4th and last point on why it is a 7.2/10 only is the availability of airconditioning which is 0, outside temperature was 18degrees and spa was 23degrees (air) our room was 26 DEGREES. no aircon at ALL.... big flaw waking up drenched in sweat after relaxing spa...
however a few positive side notes! staff TRULY WAS AMAZING 10/10 all day, caring, nice, fast, open and funny. the staff made ourbstay so much better.
All in all I believe itnis overpriced and I am not really intrigued to go...
