HyggeKro 斯堪維亞旅宿 — Hotel in Hualien City

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at HyggeKro. It felt like we were transported to Europe, right in the middle of Hualien. The owner and his wife put a lot of thought and care into designing the home to make it cozy and comfortable, and we definitely felt right at home the moment we walked in. The place is extremely clean (spoken from someone with extremely high standards), and the bed and bedsheets were so comfortable it felt like a 5 star hotel. The owner was very responsive in his messages, and gave awesome recommendations for things to do and places to eat around the area (shout-out to the nearby hotpot place he recommended 火鍋世家 10/10 too!). If you are looking for a high-end luxurious place to stay at, with an affordable price (and lovely owners!) - you won't go wrong...

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel made in Scandinavian style ! We are coming from Denmark so we are familiar with the design. The whole hotel is very clean and cozy and it really reminded us of home. The kitchen and the lobby are perfect for families - lots of space and areas to sit!

Our room was also very nice! A big soft bed and a beautiful bathroom that was also my favorite part!

The couple owning this hotel are also very sweet and friendly and can advise you nice places around!

A lot of shop 5 min walk and a 7/11 right by the corner!!

We had a lovely 3 night stay while visiting Taroko Gorge and the coast. The rooms are clean, cozy, nicely designed, and functional. The bed and bedding are plush and the space overall is pretty unique for the area. One room even had a Dyson hair dryer. 😍

The neighborhood is quiet but offers free nearby parking and several restaurants, bars, and cafes within walking distance. The night market and main city area is a short drive away. We highly recommend HyggeKro and...
