Wow, where to start
We staid at Olamanga four nights and we had the best time here. Jambiani is the perfect spot in Zanzibar, not too touristy but yet very nice and close to many places for day trips to explore the island. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends visiting the island. Ralu and Lee, the owners, were super friendly and helpful. Plus, communication with them was always top. They organised a day trip to Pungume for us and it was the best day trip we experienced in the island. The Villa itself is even better than the pictures (and the pictures looked very nice already!). Every single detail is well thought of, the rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. The bathroom is also spacious, with two sinks and a lot of water pressure in the shower and toilet (not something you always get in Tanzania). Rooms are refreshed every day by the house keeping team and the common areas such as the pool and restaurant are always well looked after. Another thing to mention is that other guests staying at Olamanga were also super nice. We met other couples of different ages from different nationalities and they were all very friendly, we always shared a word when bumping to each other in the pool or restaurant. In terms of food, Olamanga has its own little restaurant which we absolutely loved! Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious. We were always given the option of tea or coffee, a fresh juice, eggs (cooked any way you want!), bread, crepes, nutella, honey, butter, fresh fruits and a few other things that kept on changing every morning. We also had lunch (once) and dinner (three times) in their restaurant and the food was always delicious. It’s fair mentioning that we always had to wait a bit too long for food and this was a bit annoying, the chef is very “pole pole” style (which means “slowly slowly” in Swahili) and he also cooks everything from scratch. However, the food was always worth the wait, my husband and I are not the kind of people who go to the same restaurant twice while on holidays as we like to try other places, but the food at Olamanga was just too difficult to match, it was always incredibly tasty, well presented and portions were generous. Another plus is that the menu offers enough options, so you can try different things and not get bored. We mentioned to Ralu our thoughts regarding the food being too slow to come out of the kitchen and she took the feedback very professionally, I’m sure they are already working on improving this from their end. All in all, we had an absolutely fantastic stay at Olamanga and we would definitely come back here if we’re ever back in Zanzibar!

Our stay at Olamanga Beach Villas in Zanzibar was truly unforgettable. The property is stunning, exuding authenticity and offering a serene, retreat-like atmosphere—an ideal spot for relaxation. The breakfast was exceptional, with eggs, toast, an array of fresh fruits, and incredible smoothies, making it the perfect start to each day. Lee and Raluu are outstanding hosts who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The trips we booked through them were fantastic and trustworthy. We can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return!

Olamanga Villa is pure paradise. Beautiful boho vibes, super clean rooms and common areas, and just steps from the beach. Raluca and Lee are the kindest hosts you’ll ever meet and honestly, Raluca deserves a bartender award! Her cocktails are next level 🍾 Chef Mussa makes every meal unforgettable. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, and dinner is something you’ll look forward to every night. This place is not just a stay, it’s a whole feeling. Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in Olamanga Villa when the new part with the pool was under construction. Unfortunately no one informed us that there would be a construction site of Olamanga. We couldn‘t really enjoy our stay due to the construction noise (day&night). Also both hosts insisted that the construction site did not belong to Olamanga and they didn‘t know earlier about the noise (which was obviously a lie). But I have to admit: new part looks really nice. However, lying into people‘s face is not really a nice behavior of a host. So that‘s why I can only...
