Ban Mai was a very clean, quiet, and relaxing to stay at. There was absolutely no nuisance at all during a stay there. The place also felt safe and secure as the doors have extra chain locks and the premise itself has a gate that's locked at night.

The staff is also very helpful and very cooperative when we needed anything. We arrived quite late (around 10:20 p.m.) which is a little bit after they officially close check-ins but they accommodated us anyway. We gave them prior notice that we would arrive late so please let them know if you also plan to do this as they wont accept any check-ins outside of their opening time have not been notified prior to arrival.

The only downside will be that they do not have any parking spaces but this is not too much of a problem because there is a temple about 50 m away that offer parking spaces for only 50...

Owners are polite and helpful. Location is great if you are attending any expo in Bitec. Only McDonald, Coffee World and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. But they all open from 10pm onwards - not a good time for breakfast. There is one little coffee shop that sells rice and noodle just before McDonald. The bbq pork rice is very good.||||Bed is extremely hard. It is the hardest bed I have ever had in my life. Checked with owner for different bed but was told all rooms had the same bed. She then offered a topper for us which was a life saver, otherwise we would have had to check out.||||No lift, and be careful when going up the stairs. I rented a room since my graduation ceremony was held at bitec bagna. The rooms were very spacious, the staffs and everyone are very nice. I fortunately got to meet the owner of the place and it was very exciting, she explained how the hotel came to be. It used to be a silk fabric manufacturer that would export to different countries, they were considered as the front tier silk fabric producer back in the days.

Although, the beds are kind of stiff but you can always ask them to add a topper without charge. Finding the hotel itself might be a bit confusing since the layout is like a house, i would advise you to call them when you get near the hotel and they will come and guide you or explain...
