I had a very pleasant stay in this Resort. The check-in was smooth and I was in my hotel room in less than 5 minutes. My room was just a few steps behind the Front Desk Reception. The entire place was very quiet with lots of greenery around. Resort had very friendly and helpful staff. They gave good advice/suggestion on places to visit. Breakfast was good enough with both local and western food options. Other hotel guests were very pleasant too, they spoke very softly at breakfast tables. My neighbours were very quiet, so I had very good rest/sleep throughout my stay. ||||The only small set-back is the location of the Resort. Need to walk a good 20 - 30 minutes to most places (like eateries & attractions) but the Resort compensated this by providing free use of bikes. I didn't mind the walking, except when it rained very heavily (like on my first night there) and when I was carrying lots of things after a shopping spree. But no worries, it was easy and affordable to catch a taxi or a tutu to get around. The taxi and tutu drivers I encountered in Chiangrai didn't understand English. So for my first time getting to the Resort, I had to pass the taxi driver the Resort's phone no. & used sign language to ask him to call the Resort to ask for direction (in their local language). Subsequently, I could direct other taxi drivers and tutu drivers (sign language) to get to the resort, thanks to the bright and clear (green) signage the Resort put up on the main road leading...
Read moreTerrible. Horrible service. Rooms not as described. Owner a nasty piece of work.
The garden view for the room requires u to stand out side in the car park to see it. Bare in mind we booked the deluxe room. The window in the back of the room hardly let's in any light as it is backed up against a brick wall covered with fake grass. Makes u feel like ur in a box.
Rooms are noisy The people next to us were smoking on the balcony so our room stank of smoke when we woke up. Ur not meant to smoke on the balcony.
So I wake up at 6.30 to noise, smoke and no natural light.
The rooms clearly state garden view.... only if u sand outside and look through the car park.
Look if u have a car and like no natural light and smoke coming through the doors it might be OK for you.
Owners and managers horrible. I fell sorry for the staff.
Don't sell me a deluxe room with garden views if im not getting it.
Terrible location if u don't have a car. nothing around Would give zero...
Read moreIt's a bit secluded and away from the town but ask the reception n they'll call for a tuk tuk or songthaew or taxi which arrives in five minutes. It's cheap travelling so we went to the white temple for 20 baht a head on a bus from the sub main road which is a five minute stroll.. The black temple visit we hired the full songthaew which came picked us up at the hotel, waited an hour there and dropped us back.. All for just 400 baht.. From the bus terminal 1 to the hotel is 80 bath either in a tuk tuk or songthaew.. The central plaza mall is exactly one km from the hotel which is like a fifteen minute walk if you don't want to ride there. The hotel rooms are wonderful, clean, as are the bathrooms.. Breakfast included is a buffet which has a fairly large choice.. Something to suit all palates. The staff and housekeeping all spoke fairly good English and were extremely courteous and helpful.. Overall I'd say great value for money.. I'll be...
