It was really my pleasure staying there! The encounter with the owners brother, who worked at the front desk (family business!), was just enchanting. He really is a pure soul, if you meet him you’ll know! A very clean hostel which offers snacks throughout the day (bananas, oranges, crackers, coffee, tea..) and has a free basic breakfast option which you can’t complain about (toast, jam, butter, eggs+egg cooker, fruit). The dorm a very clean and you have your private space due to the curtains. The shared bathroom was always clean and tidied up! You could change up your towel for free, which I really found positive bc a lot of hostels charge extra for a towel which you most of the time can’t change. Location wise it’s bit off the grid. Which I found ok, you’ll need a scooter anyways, no matter where you’re staying in Thailand😅 and there is definitely nice stuff nearby you can reach pretty easy. We drove down to Old Phuket town and Pudong for a day (40min each way). But I would only recommend doing that if you’re an experienced driver, bc traffic is just insane. All in all I loved staying there and it felt very quickly very homey! Would...
Read moreThe place is great and the owner To is the BEST! He really made the experience a wonderful one for us and we highly recommend this place! I't's very new (late 2019 or early 2020) and gorgeously designed and renovated. The rooms are cute, clean, stylish. There is a shared kitchen area with an area to eat which is a bit difficult to find in Thailand in certain places. The owner really is the most helpful, friendly and kind hostel/guesthouse/hotel owner we've ever met and will bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need, are enjoying your stay. He literally will come around and flip on lights for you if he sees you working in a dark corner, he even drove us on his bike to the bus station one day after we asked for directions. We spent two months in Thailand and To was the best owner we met, stay here! You won't be...
Read moreWe had to stay here due to been let down by our original hotel. ||Pleasantly surprised what this hostel was like. ||Very clean quite quiet even provided a light breakfast in with the price. It was our first time in a hotel so not sure what to expect but found the staff friendly and always happy to help. ||Aircon is a must and it worked well and quietly. Washing machine available and drying area too. ||Large common area with table large tv and pool table. ||My only bug bear was taking out shoes off at the door and walking the entire way to our room beat foot. ||Whilst it may be polite to accept Thai customs they charge English prices so please decided which nationality you want to be. ||Location I found wasn’t great, it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere so a scooter or taxi are a must if wanting to go...
