Kindee Pizzeria & Steak House — Restaurant in Si Sunthon

Just attended Sunday roast here with a group of 12 friends. The space itself is well set out with a good initial atmosphere… however … whilst the price of 3 course roast appeared initially very good value (B500 for 3 courses) the quality of service and food was commensurate. The scotch egg and beetroot salad entrees were both good however our table were served these nearly 30mins apart from each other. I actually saw a table that arrived 30mins after us receive our tables missing entrees which shows the organisation status of the kitchen. Similar happened with the mains which saw most of the table eating their main courses apart from each other. The Sunday roast quality itself was well below par … lamb was carved almost an inch thick and retained a lot of inedible fat - see photo of some of the meat quality included. There were only 40 pax in the restaurant and the 4 front of house staff, who while all friendly, were clearly overwhelmed and under prepared. Had to order drinks multiple times before they arrived and likewise asked multiple times for clearing of the table between courses. Overall this place has plenty of work to do if they want repeat customers in a region with plenty of competition. We won’t be back unless proper resources are put into quality of food...

Kindee restaurant Food tasted so far: Calzone. Baked in a pizza oven with genuinely tasty pizza dough with ham and deliciously melted cheese. It even tasty excellent cold the day after if you can’t eat all of it.

Ceaser salad with fresh crisp lettuce, not water sodden like some establishments mixed with a fair portion of grilled chicken. One of the best Ceaser salads I’ve had in years. Savoury Italian sausage with mashed potato - similar to the English dish Bangers & Mash. And oh, the taste!

Location: It’s easy to drive past if you don’t know it’s there. It’s on a bend with free parking available. Bandon-Cherngtalay Rd, Tambon Choeng Thale, Thalang District, Phuket 83110

Atmosphere: Dine inside or outside and wonderfully friendly staff. The manager, I think owner, gained many years of experience working in an Italian restaurant.  Which is where she learnt to cook Italian and a variety of western dishes with great aplomb!

First time there. We’ve had the beef taco and the Lamb Tajine. The portion was small, the quantity of the meat was little, the portion is small, and the price is more than it should be. Drinks are good and fairly priced. New place, nice service, and nice vibe when it’s busy. I’ll give it another try to be fair and post pics. Thanks

The theme is small portions. Cappuccino was good, but my Machiatto was not great at all. Shakshouka was good, the server was really nice and polite. Won’t go there again for food or coffee, drinks only. I think the other reviews were made by friends of the owners! Didn’t seem accurate to me, sorry but that’s my honest take on the food part.
