HOP INN Khon Kaen Srichan Road Building A — Hotel in Khon Kaen Province

There was only one employee at the desk upon check-in, which took about a half hour for me to even begin the process, even though I had a reservation. The following morning, my air-conditioning unit (which did not work well in the first place) was frozen with ice.

Soneone from the Engineering department came to check out the AC unit and stood at my room entry for 5 minutes while they translated into English, "I will come in to check the unit." Tge techician defrosted the unit and told me it is no longer frozen. I told him that is great but that the issues are not fixed (low flow and not consistently cold).

I had a great stay at the Hop Inn in Nong Khai, however based on cleanliness issues in the bathroom and the air-conditioning problems I would not stay at this...

B650 ( 550 with Agoda) is the lowest price to date I have spent on a hotel room in Thailand. I was advised on this chain by a friend , and I glad I listened. They are newly built, clean and efficient and really all you need for a cheap overnight stay. A/C works well, wifi excellent and the bed pretty comfortable, and they being the staples for any basic stay.
