Great new place near KKU (Khon Kaen University) – clean, cozy, and worth the price! I stayed at The Cotton Tree Hometel in May 2025. I’m not sure when it opened, but everything looked and felt very new and fresh. The hotel has a nice, pleasant scent throughout, and my room was spacious with all the essential amenities.

The wooden-themed interior gave the room a warm and cozy vibe. It’s a perfect spot for work trips or anyone visiting the KKU campus (Kangsanar side). The location is convenient, and the price is very reasonable—around 1,000 THB per night.

We booked four separate rooms, and stayed for five weeks. We were supposed to stay at the Cotton Tree Hometel for longer, but the rooms smelled like mold and it was starting to grow mold on our personal belongings. The staff said that there was nothing they could do, other than that we should open the balcony door. We ended up booking another hotel for the rest of our stay in Khon Kaen.
