I stayed here during the low season for 2 days and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. It felt private and quiet, which I liked.
What I especially appreciated was the greenery around the room and the friendly dog that welcomed guests âĪïļ
Some points that could be improved: when I checked in, the room seemed to have some dust on the curtains and the blanket had a slightly musty smell. As someone allergic to dust mites, I developed some rashes. At night, I also heard small animals moving above the ceiling, which made it hard to sleep.
The slope for motorbikes and the walkway is quite steep, so it requires some caution and can be a bit difficult if youâre carrying heavy items.

   Read moreVery off the beaten path. Budget. But right on the water (mangrove, not sandy beach... Well not our bungalow. Beaches between 2 and 10 minutes away. Walk down 80 steep steps. Yao is the caretaker woman and very friendly and very Thai. Speaks some English. Is cautious. Very helpful. But, like most Thais, not great with confrontation or adjustments. More "Mae ben rai" than, "is there anything more that I can do".
Good value for the the money. No wifi at the bungalow -- that should clue you to the level.

   Read moreI am staying the most expensive room. I saw many garbages from former guests and not cleaned at all. The room is very cheap construction and poor quality. The electricity is not provided now, at 7:00AM. Unfortunately I must stay one more night. And I will never come back again. Also you must walk down very steep road. If you have a big baggage, this is not for you. I am very disappointed to stay here. I have never had a such a terrible experience last decades in hotel. Do not come to this...
