Villa Araya Koh Phangan — Hotel in Ko Pha Ngan

This villa was simply outstanding — from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The host, Tarik, and his wife were fantastic, greeting us warmly and providing complimentary transfers to and from the pier. After a long, hot journey with a delayed boat, we were expecting to run errands for water and food — but to our delight, the villa was stocked with complimentary water, drinks, snacks, and light food. A thoughtful and much-needed welcome.

The villa is new, beautifully designed, and well equipped. The upper floor has a spacious living area and two bedrooms on each side. Downstairs you’ll find a large private pool with a gorgeous view of Koh Samui.

There were no mosquitoes or bugs during our stay — very rare for Thailand. Clean linens, new furniture, modern bathrooms — everything was in great condition. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen had all necessary appliances and utensils.

Tarik also helped us rent scooters, delivered and picked up directly at the villa — same or better price than local shops. Food delivery services knew the location and delivered within 30 to 60 minutes.

The area is peaceful and quiet — perfect for relaxing. The nearest beach is about 8 minutes by scooter. Full Moon Party beach (Haad Rin) is ~20 minutes away. Koh Phangan is small, and you can easily tour the island in a day.

Overall, an exceptional experience. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and families. Just try to keep it peaceful, enjoy the sabai, and embrace the sanuk.

I had the pleasure of staying at Tarik’s stunning villa for a few days and I can confidently say that it was the best stay I've had in a decade of travels. Tarik is truly an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was seamless. From arranging my pick-up and drop-off, to helping with a scooter rental, and offering amazing local recommendations, he was always attentive and ensured everything was perfect. The villa itself is breathtaking in every detail. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas are impeccably designed, with high ceilings and stylish decor that create an open, relaxing atmosphere. The view is absolutely stunning, and the villa is fully stocked with anything a guest could possibly need and much more.
